The show is quite funny and chaotic with each cast member doing well with their roles. At first I was skeptical with Jeong Seo taking this role as reading the webtoon I didn't think she will be able to fit the character but she just showed off that she was the right choice for it. I hope moving forward they stay true to webtoon.
Tae Oh and Inha being bros was so good to watch but it does look like in future their brotherhood is gonna be tested a lot and may even breakdown into war.
HyeWon looks like someone who is gonna be quite manipulative and grey. Even when Inha kissed her she didn't kiss him back but also didn't stop him, it kind of gave vibes as she knows that he is the ticket for her out of the hell she is living in. Even though she likes Tae Oh, her ambitions to become rich are over everything. Hell I would say she might become a major part of the reason both TaeOh and Inha go against each other.
The gap of 5years and what went down in between is gonna be interesting to see. If only they released all episodes together, I would have binge watched them all.
E9: ML is just pathetic, dude literally ignores her calls even though he knows how much she is suffering. MinJoo stabs Hae rin in the back for SeoAh and gets backstabbed by her. A well deserved karma.
I do know how it will end, the most cliche way : MJ will redeem herself probably tell everyone she did it on SA's saying and end her career. CEH will for the first time act brave and announce he is dating HR.
Talk about handling and fixing breakups, rarely I see dramas where the leads do the right thing by talking it out instead of dragging it unnecessarily and just hurting themselves even more. This drama has been one heartwarming journey.
It does looks like the ex husband loves her too some extent as if he wanted her dead, she would be dead already. Maybe during the marriage he did fell in love with her and had tried to get things moving between him and her but she never showed any such feelings towards him. For her it was just a marriage of convenience, a show she need to put in front of the world and her son.
So in the end, even after years of marriage he never really got the love wanted from her, as he knew she still loved the ex bf, he just decided to use her and get rid of her as dude is a sociopath and full of pride. He still gets jealous when he sees her with KJ and i think he knows the kid isn't his too.
can someone explain to me what happened to the fl and ml? did they use to date? why did they breakup?
Probably the same cliche trope will be shown. Her family was poor and in debt and back then her ex hubby family came to propose her family for the marriage. So she chose to go for the marriage for her family as she said she chose the reality. The reality was both of them weren't financially stable and she really needed something secure back then which he wouldn't have been able to give her also she was pregnant. So maybe she chose to hide it too and married him so as not to hold ML back from pursuing his future as well as getting fer family the dire help they needed.
As much as I am shipping DJ with HW, I also want DJ and DH to get back together. Out of all of the ex couples, their ex-room was the most emotional, soulful and full of memories. As DJ said, it won't be easy to forget her as she will always be a part of his life. If only they had sit down and bared their hearts out openly without holding back they probably wouldn't have broken up. In E12 it does looks like they are starting to confront each other about their inner thoughts openly.
Hwi Hyun needs to get his shit straight. Dude likes Seo Kyung but also wants to be with his ex whom he ignored and treated coldly since the start of the show. Judging by their barren ex room it did look like he was a shitty boyfriend back then too while she was deeply in love with him and wanted to make things work.
Hye Won too needs to have some self talk and sort herself out . If she really wants to get over her ex then why act all touchy and puppy in front of him. If she wants to get back together then be clear about it too. I hope she doesn't make the same mistake again as she deserves way better.
Kwang Tae needs to learn a lot about reading the room. Dude it is quite clear YJ is interested in JW and not him at all. She has even given him hints about this time and again but dude is blind to notice them . Every time he is with YJ, things are just awkward, silent and her face is always like when will this end while she is with JW, she is talkative and having a blast with him.
SeoKyung kind of deserves what she is getting at this point. She literally has not sorted out whom she is most interested in and everyday her choices change from KT to HH to DJ to JW. She keeps playing push and pull game with JW, at first treated him coldly and acted all touchy with KT infront of him. She straight up told him she is over him and has not interest in getting back together but now acts all warm with him and going by E12 preview it looked like she tried to get back with him but he was fed up of her which ofcourse anyone would be.
YJ does say it clearly that she doesn't want to get back together with CJ and is interested in someone else but it kind of does look like that maybe there is still a possibility. They both are opposites of each other while CJ keeps things to himself and doesn't really let his emotions out openly, YJ is clear, straightforward, extroverted and never sugarcoats her words ( I personally find that quite an attractive traits of her).
E8 has ended with no progression between the leads. She still keeps him at an arm's distance and he still a lovestruck simp. Frankly I don't care about their relationship arc cuz there is little to no chemistry between them. The drama's main focus was always revenge so I knew there won't be much romance factor in it and till now there hasn't been much.
FL gets jealous when ML's ex gf touched him but whenever he tries to get back with her she straight up friend zones him which I do understand as for her rt now the main focus his getting her son back and taking down her ex. The entire last minute love confession from FL in the last ep would be quite shitty and out of character for her.
All I hope is they don't pull some super cliche....("mom meets dad years after breakup and at first she hides they had a kid but then tells him and now they are happy family")......
E7 wasn't much exciting but wasn't boring too and looks like E8 will be chaotic so looking forward to it.
She nailed her role and for me she was the perfect casting for it. Last year it was Lim Ji Yeon who showed off her versatility by pulling of a sadistic and psychotic character and now it's Song Ha Yoon.
The show is halfway done and I don't see any Queen of divorce. More like a betrayed dumb witted lawyer who is still a damsel in distress and puts herself in dangerous situations without using her brain. She still can't stand up to her ex mother in law. The show has not given much engaging stuff till now and is to some extent quite predictable.
I am sure in later episodes it will be revealed to everyone that the kid isn't of the ex husband but DKJ and then there will high melodramatic confrontation between the two. She will justify her actions and he will leave but since he is a total simp, will comeback to help her again. They will win the custody of the kid too.......... I mean in these years he still couldn't move on, so what are the chances he will even after finding out the truth.
I wouldn't be surprised if it is later found that MKM too had a role in YW's trouble. Maybe he wanted the attention and awards YW used to get. It was him who along with the killer planned the murder and made sure it happened in YW's clinic.
He totally gives the vibes of having a hidden hatred for YW.
well, at the beginning of the episode I was smiling and laughing at lot, but it turned out depressing and sad…
Looks like she trusted and liked him in the past but he may have tried to do something wrong to her which she managed to get out off and in response he took away her credit.
OR
They both had a really good relationship, and her intentionally made her believe that he liked her too and wanted a future with her but in reality he just used her for her intelligence and hardwork to get the credit. So maybe the day she found out about her name not being on the book, she went to confront him only to find him with his girlfriend. Then rest is history and as you see in the flashback him telling her the book will help his future career and left her there. So basically she had not only her first heartbreak but her entire trust broken in a day.
Looks like she had been through quite much more than it has been shown. I want to see YW's reaction to this. He may even crash the asshole's wedding.
Dude is on a streak of his role's dying.

She knows how to deal with her son's divorces and ex wives.

E10 is gonna be quite satisfactory to watch
