The Happy Ending was predictable, quite cliche yet made me feel good. I am glad he didn't return as human which many shows often do in such tropes. Him remaining an immortal demon while her a human makes their relationship time even more valuable.
The one guy who impressed me the most in the show was Kim Seung Ho as one scarred psychotic teen. Damn I felt sad in the last ep when his mother remembers him and all he ever wanted was to protect him and his mother from the monster of a father. Even though it was his first time main stream acting, he did total justice to his character. He makes you hate him but pity him too. Dude was the dark horse of the show.
Also kudos to the costume designer for the leads. They wore some really nice outfits.
Ju Won needs to get his shit fixed, He and Seo Kyung broke up on quite a trivial matter and even now when they aren't even together, they were still arguing so how can he expect her to chose him or that them being together is a happy ending. Even if they got back together, they will most likely screw it up again.
SK broke up cuz she felt hurt by JW's words even though it somewhat was her fault too as she too said some horrible things and wasn't really considerate of his feelings too back then which she knows she did. I would say she knows that both of them are too different so she isn't going for him but moving on which is a good thing in long term.
JW is till living in nostalgia expecting some K drama type reunion and when that isn't happening he is being a bitch about it . Whether it is her not choosing him or spending time with others and looking at the preview he is still gonna be a bitch about it later on too.
With Dong Jin and Da Hye it is a different case. I do want them to end up together but chances of that happening are too little as DJ is trying to move on while DH still can't let go of her feelings for him. DJ does care about DH and he made it very clear when she was about to reveal her job but also made it clear during Truth/Dare that he isn't interested in getting back together. All I hope is both of them get their happy endings be it together or with someone else as both of them are two amazing individuals.
Q1 : How does a middle aged man survive a fall from a high building into the river, then walks out unscathed, survives the excruciating pain of burning, survives a demon's attack, survives a huge and heavy concrete falling on him ?
Q2: How does a middle aged man able to get inside an expensive residential building and kidnap someone who lives there without anyone noticing ?
Q3: How does a middle aged man with cops after him even manage to get himself chloroform and a shotgun?
Ans: He is the main villain of a K drama........That's it.
FL breakups up with ML during evening and leaves, so he tries to follow her but is stopped by the dad and then msg her at night that lets break up but didn't that already happen and why does she comes back to cry at his house gate asking him to not do it......... Even after 14 eps I still don't understand why she tells everyone he dumped her when she already did it first.
Also for a sec in E14 during the last moments, I thought ML's dad was gonna fall down and kick the bucket right after he gave them his blessings. Would have been too traumatic.
As much as I love the show and the leads but still would it kill the writers to give ML even a little bit of brain and maturity. Du Sik is one strong and intelligent woman while Baek Du is a clueless kid in a man's body who still lives in nostalgia and needs to be explained everything for him to understand. Had it not been for FL he would have just retired from the ssireum and spent his life like a useless idiot with no ambition at all. Before her he couldn't even stand up for himself and was a total doormat but she changed things. One of the moments where BD goes on to perform well at the tournament as long as FL was there but the moment he saw FL not being in the crowd, he went downhill and lost. Like his entire confidence, strategy and concentration was there cuz she was there. Frankly to me the story has been interesting so far was all thanks to FL and the entire investigation stuff otherwise anything revolving around BD is somewhat a borefest.
It ended exactly how i was afraid it would end. The same shitty reunion without any progression between the leads. They ruined Soundtrack#2 this way and now this one too. Writers thought that by giving the last minute fairy tale ending they will be able to salvage the already ruined character of FL but just ended up making it way worse. What is the difference between her and ML's ex, I would say he should have gotten back with the ex at this point cuz she will for sure not let ML go this time as she learnt her lesson and will treat him with all her heart but what did FL learn exactly.
The breakup was expected, deserved yet painful. I know they will end up together in the end but still I felt terrible for ML. FL needs a lot to learn and work on her insecurities and hopefully the time apart will do it.
Luna is too broken from inside and is gonna take a long time for her to heal. I wouldn't have mind if the ex husband had died but they made his fate even worse.
I guess its happy times now for Seum and Jeong Jae. It was a nice ending for them and the show.

JW still needs to grow up

Now its just the parasite named EunJoo who is left to be dealt with......
