Wonder what the rating is like on douban if they've started rating already..............douban is always harsh…
that's like a very big achievement for an idol xianxia drama...most of them have not been getting actual critical acclaim in cn since mid 2010s (but since last year we've had clj and tsl which did really well in douban too ^_^ things are moving in cdramaland lol)

personally I actually enjoy the cgi it's kinda camp lol...it's like TSL where the crazy makeup and bad cameraworks/color grading boosted up the comedy factor of the drama lol
