Yup DY is LOVE 😭 I was just really happy with every single side character and the way their stories turned out and were wrapped up. DY and JL found e/o after DY losing others and JL having lived a lonely life for such a long time and they are really NOT at fault for the last minute HE lol. Neither are CD and RH. Their screentime was needed and necessary...It's really just the episode length limit and maybe a little bit the pacing that didn't let the mains have their moment together in the end

The obsession with toxic masculinity is a disease that needs to be studied

I wish there was at least a sequence getting us more emotionally in depth with the pain Goddess Xiyun went through seeing her parents(?) and the people of her tribe getting murdered when she was a child...Idk why cdramas always miss the emotional character arc that belongs to the female lead

One thing I forgot mentioning in my comments last night: Love how DFQC became a puppy in front of XLH in the last 4 episodes but his mannerism and aura went back to the devil lord the moment he was having conversations with Shangque lmao...Man never acting out of character I see

Yup she can. That's what I think they'd probably do too. Just disappointed that people have not accepted that she has her own set of responsibilities too. She could've said no to them but she probably chose both her lover and to protect people in the end.

I'm kind of disappointed that so many of you all are saying you want XLH to go back to Cangyan sea and have "moon" kids and be the "moon" queen 🙄 I think we all know she was an independent woman with her own responsibilities and that she actually really wanted to live where she was born right? Oh my my my I was constantly cursing in 3 languages watching the finale stop it stop doing this to me 😭 besides from the last minute Happy ending, the last two episodes were freaking AMAZING! They seriously had everything that could make the last 2 episodes of a drama exciting as hell...Those epic battles and DFQC facing evil god tai sui in his body was VOW I WAS SCREAMING I KID YOU NOT! THOSE KISSES...
This drama might've not had the most unique and complex story ever but it had a chokehold on me and gave me feelings I have NOT felt since the pandemic started 😭 Ty CLJ cast and crew and ty MDLers for all the shaking and screaming we shared tgt for 3 weeks. Will really miss y'all so much. LET'S MEET AGAIN WHEN LOVE YOU SEVEN TIME AIRS THOUGH LOL

The amount of screentime the side characters got and their relevance to the story is actually perfect to me. Not too much to the point that makes you want to skip and not treating them as complete plot devices. Loved all of them dearly 🤧 going for ep 36 now NOT READY TO LET THIS DRAMA GO

Stop blaming the 15 minutes of screentime the poor side characters had for the nonexistent wedding...If DFQC didn't become btchy back then they would've been married by now smh 😭 Obviously joking but not, half joking cause he could've at least married and then fake ditched her
