oh I know. I’m just asking a rhetorical question with this comment. Doesn’t this guy realize that Lusi lost weight? her face will be different to her other look, because she’s older now, and not because she did surgery.
Is the ML's acting kinda....off? never watched him before so I'm not sure,it could be his character but It's kinda…
he’s actually good imo. he has that certain manliness in him and he suits well with Lusi. he also exudes “suspense” and his character seems to have a lot of red flags lol
Actually, despite being sad, the ending is truthful. YZJ was beyond cure, his body had been battling the poison…
I’m crying reading your comment. I had the same opinion as you. i think what makes it so sad is that they both fought to get everything they want but still lost each other in the end. and yes, she outlived him 40 years later, with her living his life. But it’s just so sad 😭😭😭. It did show that their love was so beautiful and unconditional. ughhh. I’m crying.
btw, I do think that when she asked him to “not leave” I think he actually stayed. his ring in her hand symbolizes that he lived his last days with her 😭😭😭😭.
what in the woke is this? sad endings are fine if executed well but this was NOT executed well at ALL. what do…
He did have closure. He got his family’s name cleared. He spent his health with Duanwu. I think it’s implied that DW wearing his ring means she spent his days with him. Does the drama have to show him dying for us to have closure? I think it’s already poignant to know that he could’ve passed away, but we didn’t have to see him struggle with his health.
Duanwu traveling in the desert also showed time, wasn’t she just saying 40 years have passed?
dating in the kitchen is one of them :)

I’m not prepared 😭😭😭
