I am only four episodes in, and I must say that it is a surprisingly good drama for being a mini series. The acting and filming quality are that of larger budget cdramas. The story line seems to be decent so far, as well. I think I am going to really like this little series.
They would have had an heir, but thanks to the main evil they don't anymore.
Definitely read the novel. 😁 It was amazing. I could not put it down and ended up binge reading it all in one sitting. The series isn't doing Khanin's snarky and intelligent personality justice. Let's just say that Khanin is the ultimate strategist and knows how to wrap everyone around his fingers, and Charan is his protector in everything...and equally wrapped around his finger. They are eachother's everything.
I am really looking forward to the progression of the series when we see more of the intense bond between Charan and Khanin.

It depends on perspective on who is really the main evil. Do you consider the people who are trying to kill Khanin the main evil, or is that just the result of the actions taken by another evil? Evil begits evil in this case. You might consider that there are actually two evils in this series, one being the cause of the other.
No. In the novel, Mark does it to keep Thara from realizing that he now knows the truth of Thara's lies and treachery. He is able to better protect Tong from Thara this way.
I just do not understand why so many people think Babe will cheat on Charlie. Babe has been a lot of things to Charlie, an a$$hole being one of them, but one thing that I have never seen Babe as is a cheater. Even before he met Charlie, I don't think Babe ever juggled more than one s3xual partner at a time. I mean think about it! From everything we know of Babe's personality, do you really think he has the patience to deal with more than one person at a time?! No! I think cheating pretty much goes against everything Babe is about, be it in racing or as a lover. There are a lot of red flags with Babe where Charlie is concerned, but I don't think cheating is one of them.
I haven't finished reading book 2 yet, so I could be wrong, but I highly doubt Babe would ever cheat on Charlie. Despite all Babe's flaws and poor treatment of Charlie, he does really love Charlie in the best way he knows how.
All this being said, I don't agree with how Babe handled Charlie's questioning about where Babe was and why he smelled like Alpha. Babe should have just been honest about everything...that Willy was annoying the ever loving crap out of him and doing everything he could to get under Babe's skin. I think a lot of unnecessary drama could be avoided with an honest explanation...which is why the writers didn't do it that way, because the writers love to f*ck with the viewers' emotions.
Hey, can anyone tell me what the book says at this point?
The series doesn't follow the novel perfectly, so it is hard to say at this point without revealing too many potential spoilers. I know what may come next if they decide to keep it in the series, but I'm not sure if they will. Another death close to Tong may be coming. Both Tonkla and another individual close to Tong died pretty closely together in the novel.
This BL drama took me by surprise. It was totally by accident that I even discovered it. Thank you random YouTube algorithm reccomendation. This series and its extra episodes were even better than BL dramas produced by large entertainment companies. The chemistry, the acting, the filmography, even the storyline, it was all on point.
