I haven't yet watched today's episode so my opinion may change afterward, but considering that both of these NC scenes were technically rape, I think it was probably best that they were done this way. Hopefully, in the next more consensual NC scenes, the scenes will be better. There will be more NC scenes, because despite what some people are saying, this is not the scene where Hua Yong gets Sheng Shaoyou pregnant.
While everyone else is either excited for or condemning Episode 9, I am eagerly awaiting episode 10, which based off of the emoji on the airing schedule calendar, is when the earthquake will happen and Hua Yong's deception about being an Omega is finally revealed and the real romance can finally begin without anymore subterfuge or manipulation...at least not too much manipulation...but this is Hua Yong we are talking about here, the ultimate long game king of manipulation.

Can someone answer me a question about the fast track episodes on Youku, please? When purchasing the fast track episode, is it just the one episode that you get just for that day, and then the next day you have to purchase the fast track episode again for that day, or does the original purchase unlock all fast track episodes for the series each day? $2.99 to unlock the fast track package doesn't sound too bad, but if $2.99 only gets you one episode and then the next day you have to purchase that day's fast track episode for another $2.99, and repeating this process until the series finishes seems a bit steep.
For US viewers, on the Moonlit Reunion drama page on the Disney+ website it now shows that Moonlit Reunion is coming August 26th. There is now light at the end of this dark tunnel for us. Yay! 😁😁😁😁 Finally!
