The SML drives me crazy! What exactly is he hoping to accomplish with his obsession with the ML? It almost seems like he is putting in more work to creep the ML than he has on the serial killer case because he is jealous of the ML. Like he just out here looking for an excuse for the ML and FL to not be together. 🙄

Right?! Fine if that's gonna be how you first show he's dead but at least give the show time to mourn the character. Show more of peoples' reactions. Let us know more about what happened. Show us a funeral maybe. This really just felt so abrupt as well as being unnecessary. Not a crier, but when "he" was crying while watching her performance there was definitely some moisture welling up in my eyes. Gosh it was such an emotional scene.
And the way she smiled "at him" clearly because she was seeing him in her mind's eye even though he wasn't really there. I wasn't prepared. :(
