ml put uncoscious fl beside him in bed, staged them having sex, and forced her to marry him (that is why fl fled at wedding day) fl's brother took fl to flee but got into car accident. so fl had to get ml's money to sustain her brother's life who is in ICU. so she was literally forced into marriage and sex (ml could have just confessed his feelings to her and save all that trouble but his ego was too big). this is not "consensual" so it is red flag. marriage can be viewed as a form of transaction yes, but even transactions have to be consensual. we literally sign at contracts. (that is why we should ban early marriage or parent selling their daughters too so to speak)

i mean that is one way to put it. Since every women is putting up with certain level of slavery in marriage so I guess so. but this is romance drama and ml is supposed to be some "doesn't exist in the real world prince". paying for sex and forcing woman to be with him? that is like 99% of real world men. that is not someone viewers can fantasize about.

nah i'm korean and her fans are worried. but that is her gaining weight than before. she was like super duper skinny after filming "why her". also she took long rest after that so i was wondering it was health issue.

as korean shj is def one of my favorite actresses. her diction is really ON POINT and her expressions are great. looking forward to this.

i think this one focused on their story and background and fact that they are family in new-fashioned way. korean made it more typical young romance.

and also when it was doing well (at first episodes) it was like on a super tight schedule, it was filming and airing at the almost same time, so people suspected that is why the script and production tanked over time. it was so bad they even forgot to photoshop wires in action scenes. maybe that is reason why staff died filming it (because it was on such a rush.) i was really into it at first so i know well. it was all over the korean news for few days

well at first it started well since ml actor was at his prime stage when it aired but after few episodes it tanked... like no one talked about it at all

yeah which is part of the point because it is super small production drama and barely anoyone watched it here in kr 😂 while her current non-romcom is much bigger production with higher ratings.. see my point? she will head that direction for sure even if she doesn't want to. even public in kr are not into watching married woman with kid in a romcom 😂 they not mature enough

well she will still get offers but much less and won't do like "heavy" romcoms and that is because she is one of top actress here, most of other married actresses don't even get romcom offers or other male lead rejects. (one of married actress did an interview about how her 'married' male lead partner rejected her for "being married". male leads hold much bigger place and bigger voice in kr.

yeah i mean they always corner off fl in these dramas, they call it misery porn or angst stuff and fl's suffering is a "set in the stone" move... they always make fl suffer, i mean i get ml getting punishment but fl 🥲🥲

well it is not rebirth- god realm drama so still death is death. i hate them killing off fl like "goodbye princess" .. they always kill off fl.. like whyy...

i hope she don't stop. she is such a good actress and marriage should not stop women for pursuing career

well she is married with a child so I think she will take non romcoms from now on anyway, because of sexist tendency in korea and korean entertainment industry, most married actresses (especially one with kid) don't get offered much romcom anyway.

i'm surprised that this got so high rating here... in korea it tanked and was barely memorable. so-so average watch with weak writing in the end. someone from staff dying while filming didn't help either.

this one is remade in korea but I still think that this original version is much better. script, acting, casts are much better too. and i'm korean so this is not biased opinion.
