Came for KantBison, stayed for FadelStyle. I reeeally loved Firstkhao since The Eclipse, so I started this for them, but I ended up finding out about Joongdunk. This drama was my first impression of Joong and I am in loove. I love his acting; he was the perfect Fadel. Imagine my shocked face when I found out he is the youngest of the 4 in real life.
With that being said, if you're here for the plot and action... look away. If you love the (good-looking) actors and/or are here for intimate scenes, look no further! For a drama with two hitmen and an ex-undercover cop (and our lovely mechanic), there was no action. It really just felt like a romance drama, with the hidden identity plot serving as conflict for the couples. The plot was just not executed well... 😭. Whatever action bits we got were lukewarm and not as exhilarating as I anticipated (especially since the intro to the series was so straightforward and action-packed). Even the "villain" in the drama was predictable and unserious imo.
I have to say though, FadelStyle just had the better story and relationship. I just liked them more when they were on screen. Maybe it's because I loved how "shameless" Style was, and how he wasn't afraid to push Fadel's buttons. On the other hand, Fadel had a cold exterior, but melted when it came to Style. Fadel just needed love, trust, and care. He is my favorite character. My favorite FS scene was when Fadel was asking Style to leave him, but his eyes were begging him to stay...
But either way, I enjoyed the drama because I liked the actors. I feel like I would have easily dropped it in the early episodes if I didn't. I was just happy to see First on screen again ngl. First and Joong scenes had me in a chokehold fr.
When I watched Jack and Joker for the first time, the special didn't come out yet. And now I rewatched the series…
The wedding with the cardboard is crazy. It was supposed to be a bittersweet(?) scene, but it felt so unserious and UNNECESSARY.
I was in DENIAL with Jack up until the final 8 minutes. Like I was so positive Joke would pop out at some point alive. Of course, I'm disappointed. Even with the scene of Joke being alive after the ending credits... like, so what?? Sure, he doesn't actually die, but we get no scene of him reunited with his husband, friends, or family. There isn't even a concrete plan for another episode/season, so WHY? I have so many questions, and none of them were answered. Piss me offff.
What I (WE) needed to see was: Jack and Joke's PROPER WEDDING and happily married life. Dinner with Joke's family. Scenes with Jack's grandma and Toi Ting. More of Hope and Save. Tattoo and Aran finally ending their push-and-pull war and getting together. Even more of Rosé, Hoy, and P'Nang. We needed a happy and sweet ending for everyone.
I love Yinwar, so my rating is solely based on how stupid (lack of nicer words) the plot was. It should have taken a completely different turn. Actually, I should have just pretended this special didn't exist.

Surprisingly enjoyed this drama! I was a little scared that the miscommunication people mentioned would frustrate me. However, those episodes weren't too bad, and I lowkey liked it (haha)... I do agree that they got married rather suddenly without knowing each other, though.
If you can overlook the mediocre antagonist/conflict part of the drama, it's pretty good. It has its funny moments, its intense moments, and its heart-churning moments. I loved the leads' chemistry—both visual and physical. Loved all of the supporting casts too. It's one of the only modern dramas I could finish this year, so that says a lot!
The comments are positive but rating is low so it may be the work of antis who don’t want this drama’s rating…
Ohhh right, honestly, that's another anticipated drama of mine bc of ZLH. But.. people have to stop rating other dramas badly just because they are competing with their favs'.
I heard the they separate after the truth comes out for around 12 episodes. I don't think I can handle this much…
In my opinion, the angst lasted only 6 episodes (eps 17-22), but it was more like tension/intense romance than true angst. The "break" in their relationship after that lasted till episode 31, but those episodes were enjoyable and had a lot of sweet/funny moments still.
And as a person who avoids angst and misunderstandings, I thoroughly enjoyed this drama! Give it a try!
Can anyone spoil me, who is ziyu and what's his relation with the FL?
Before the FL lost her memory, they either liked each other, or they dated (i don't rmbr which). FL saw Ziyu with another girl, and she cut ties with him.
