I think this drama is pretty unique, and there are no other dramas (that I have watched) that are like this with similar themes/plot/vibes. But you can try these: - Blossoms in Adversity (ML also hides his identity from FML, but they have a really sweet/healthy relationship) - The Prisoner of Beauty (the leads start off as enemies, but they get married very early and become lovers/allies) - Destined (gives off very similar whipped ML vibes that AYTO has too) - Si Jin (Zhang Wan Yi is also the ML here; ML is also initially suspicious of FML)
Just finished watching!! Shoutout to the master for playing matchmaker 😭
This was a veery light drama. Keep in mind that this doesn't have a grand and complex plot. It's a lighthearted drama where the protagonists always outsmart the antagonists. It is fast-paced and has pretty much no misunderstandings. This is a good drama to watch if you need a good laugh and fluffy romance.
The ending is so cute, and I love that all 5 couples got their HE!! Overall a pleasant watch for me :)
This was surprisingly a really good watch for me. The storyline was good, and the cases were actually not hard…
ALSO. There was NOOOO reason for ZLJ to die!!! My heart broke for him and BXS. The four of them were supposed to get drunk together in Heyang after the whole mess was solved 💔
This was surprisingly a really good watch for me. The storyline was good, and the cases were actually not hard to keep up with—they were interesting too. I do think the second couple had better chemistry than the first couple, though. The romance between YCW and PY was just too... light? I didn't notice a real spark or intensity. This is the first drama I finished of both JJY and LXY. I think JJY's acting here was good.. I don't know why people are bashing her so much.
Not sure if you're still on ep2, but in ep3, PWX tells LR he didn't kill her in their past life--and from then…
Yeah, I get it. I also started this drama a year ago because I had nothing else to watch. I also hesitated after reading the negative comments. I ended up enjoying the majority of the drama tbh... their dynamic is sweet. It's best to watch it without the comments in mind.
Why was he castrated if he is the young lord for the Su family?
If I remember correctly... the Su family was accused of a big crime/treason and were executed. SRQ only survived because LR begged for him. But because the Su family committed a crime, they had to castrate him if he were to be kept alive... probably to ensure there will be no more heirs for the Su family.
Hi I'm now on ep 2 and I know its a 40 episode drama. However am a bit inpatient as I know the Su guy is apparently…
Not sure if you're still on ep2, but in ep3, PWX tells LR he didn't kill her in their past life--and from then on, you can say she acknowledges him. And after that, you will see LR start to worry for PWX , protect him, and find comfort in him.
Personally, I don't think Su Rong Qing had much screen time until maybe.. 30 eps in. Eps 1-2 make it seem like LR likes SRQ more than PWX, but trust me, she def only loves PWX.
