I commented a question on here a couple days ago, and my replies were full of arguments 😭 sooo I logged off to watch the drama in peace. I already wrote a full on review, but I still wanted to comment something here.
Advice to potential watchers: if the synopsis interests you, just give the drama a try. Don't dwell on these comments like I did, because it almost ruined my experience watching the drama. Does it have flaws and things I wish went different? Yeah, but it's not as terrible as some people may say.
Whoever replied to me and said LR only is interested in WX, I agree with you. She really loves him, and that can be seen in MANY scenes. Her actions speak louder than words, literally. With that being said, she isn't completely indifferent/hateful towards RQ (which seems to tick people off in the comment section). She definitely has lingering sentiments for RQ given how he accompanied her until her death in her past life, but that is all there is to it. In terms of love, she only loves WX.
I would yap more, but I don't wanna prolong this comment lol. Bottom line is, just watch it with ignorant bliss so the hate doesn't ruin your experience 🤷🏻♀️ still gave the drama a 9/10 :)

I started watching it and i'm about to start episode 2 (i like it so far). I'm also the type of watcher to not care much abt SMLs/SFLs because they don't have a chance with the leads anyway. Cannot put enough emphasis on how much of a green flag Yin Zheng is.. don't see much appreciation for him in the comments. He's a good son, brother, husband, and prince 🥹
And for people saying the romance was lacking, eh. They had more kisses and skinship later on, and it IS a lighthearted drama, so I think the sweet romance was fitting :)
I JUST FINISHED WATCHING THIS DRAMA AND I LOVE IT SO SO MUCH!!
Literally a light and sweet historical romcom. The sisterhood (and some brotherhood) was so touching. First historical drama where all the ladies work together and support each other without any scheming!
The romance and chemistry between the leads were amazing. YIN ZHENG IS SUCH A GREEN FLAG-- he always supports Li Wei and puts her before all else!! He fell first AND fell harder. He's also so cute when he's jealous or upset. I really appreciate watching the growth of Li Wei, and of everyone else.. they all became more mature and way happier :,)
Absolutely no love triangles. It is a light and funny drama with some politics, struggles, and power strife in the middle, but it made the drama interesting! The ending was not rushed, and was really happy for everyone that deserved it!!
Literally had me smiling ear to ear, I don't know if I can find another drama like this ahhhh. Watch this drama!!!
