The Story of Rose is a very famous novel by a very famous author. There was a Hong Kong movie adaptation from the 80’s starring Chow Yun Fat and Maggie Chung. This is definitely high budget with a lot of expectations.

His character in Nothing But You is different with much more room to act and express. But my favorite of his is the movie Upcoming Summer. The emotions there were so complex, heartbreaking, and beautiful. Because I love costume drama, so I also love Love like the Galaxy and The Long Ballad. Overall, I think he chose good scripts.
