They did then at about 29:00 when they went back to the palace, it went back to the original wig that was set too low on the forehead 🙈. The editing team broke the continuity.

Yeah same. I watched 10 min of it some time ago and gave up. Just started watching again yesterday. It’s not teenybopper and silly like I thought it was. I really like Zhang Xincheng in Tender Light and his acting is just mature here. This series is very well done.
