Ummm. This drama has so many comments, and if out every 1k comment there are few about comparing with other dramas, i dont think that's really obssessive bashing. We still mostly talk about feelings about LBFAD, theories and plot. I am sure both IS and LLTG may have few comments about other dramas too. All dramas were airing at the same time at one point, so many people watch 2 or 3 of them, that's normal that they compare them sometimes.
Also, everyone has different tastes, and have right to tell that they like this and dont like.

So i was thinking since they put such a great set up for XLH proving herself to be worthy Queen, maybre, we gonna have ending of XLH and DFQC ruling together Moon Tribe🥺

I still firmly believe it's gonna be HE. The script is too good in avoiding all this annoying non-logical cdramaland tropes, so i don't think they gonna end it with one of them.
And since it seems we gonna have angsty episodes (i.e. XLH dying) early on before final, later episodes are for getting HE.

I read novel partly and it is true, whole nover DFQC basically using XLH for his benefit.
But its not true that he never loved her, he just only realizes it in the very end, when she dies. He then regrets a lot and resurrects her, confesses, and its HE. So romance is basically last few chapters. Thats why i was a bit sceptical about adaptation but they changed it so much to make it more of traditional love story with much more likable ML.

For me it is episode 13 body switch moment is when their realtionship started to change. They start to trust, understand that they care about each other. That episode also has nice moment when XLH (in DFQC body) hears how DFQC asks what CH can offer her and then tells that he is the one who cares and protects her. XLH understand that's this is indeed true.

And then there is ep18 DFQC crying moment, I think DFQC is totally in love with her in that moment😊

In novel Sansheng helped, but clothes too dark for a fairy I guess🤔

No angsty moments so far, but we expect it in next episodes.
Couple have a lot of cute moments but i won't call it just a cute romance either. It's more character driven one, when you see both characters grow along with evolving their relationship.
But although it can be identified as slow burn romance so many things happening before they get together, you see sparks flying. So many moments gonna have you: Owwwww😊

And also beware: it's HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP.

If anyone asks me to recomend one Chinese drama with strong mature FL, i would definitely answer with this drama. Just watch LBFD. If you like well written FL (or ML, or supporting characters) you will get everything you wished for and more. Her character is just that good.

Seriously, i think that this only drama ever i wouldn't mind having 60 episodes with each side character story fully shown. I dont ff anything, so curious about each character.

Ep 28:
Even after 3 hours I still cant gather my thoughts.
First shocking thing: this episode has the only scene I thought was illogical. It's DFQC getting the spikes. Like i understand the meaning but seriously how him being in pain, when he is already injured, gonna help him break 100000 soldiers curse ^^ Especially after that beautiful speech (i dont know how many times i OWWed during it) that he cannot be wavered from his decision and that XLH is worthy to be Queen. Felt a bit like it was made just to weaken DFQC. Uff, my first complain about drama, i feel bad now🥺

TBH beginning of ep 28 felt a bit not so good to me at first with all that palace intrigue against XLH. This is smth i hate in many wuxia /xianxia when family/nobility/royals etc start scheming to have main couple apart or bring unnecessary drama. I already wanted to roll my eyes for drama using annoying trope and then XLH moments came and i understood it was all setup for awesomeness to come. I swear i would never assume again that scriptwrites write some scenes without smth grander in mind.

XLH, XLH, how i love your character. Making correct decisions, telling correct words, standing her ground when necessary, making herself being heard. She is willing to fight for her love, not just being a passive party.
With all awesome, epic, cute, funny and beatifull scenes so far, i must say couple's argument in ep 28 is my MOST FAVORITE SCENE in the drama at this point. It had such an amazing dialogue, so well constructed with correct emotion, stares, gestures at each point. How XLH makes DFQC see reason, understand her point and protects her right to choose. I just love that she could just rely on him but she wants to prove herself and earn her right to be with him. I thought that we gonna have goddess XiYun storyline as our heroine growth ark, but drama again surprised and created a completely different story.
DFQC has again broke all ML cliches by not hiding problems and making decision for XLH. SUCH A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS!!!
They support each other, at the same time give space when necessary. Like that moment when XLH just waited for spike effect to pass and didnt try to enter the room after finding out whats happening. She understood that is not what DFQC wanted. And moment with wine showed amount of trust they have.

Also Xunfeng, i cannot even stay mad at him for long. Him trying to stop XLH and understanding his and DFQC relationship suffer if smth happens with XLH is just owww🥺

I wrote so much and dont even think i told everything i wanted to tell.
If someone read it till end you are a superstar🌟🌟🌟

I wanna say: PROTECT SHANG QUE AT ALL COSTS, he is so precious🥺

As seen in ep 29 preview, we see her possessed or smth because of that bracelet.

Owww, how beautiful is opening scene of DFQC,  CH and XLH on a boat purifying the spirits.
Then my heart broke for CH😭 Poor him, loosing basically everything: his home, his family, his love and learning that his best friend is evil. At least, he got a chance to confess. When he was floating away in the boat, I basically screemed: Where are you going, you have nowhere to go😭😭
His dialog with Rong Hao later was really touching too. I am glad they were openly telling their thoughts and RH gave his reasoning, as well as understanding that what he has done wasnt good. ALL RELATIONSHIPS IN THIS DRAMA SO WELL WRITTEN!!!! And another glimpse into RH past, which left me wanting to know more.

I guess this ep is mostly about side characters. That Dan Yin birth secret had me surprised, and with Jie Li lookalike as a mother😱 I wasn't expecting to get new stories for supporting characters by this point in the story, but we got Dan Yin birth secret, Jie Li being a spy and also CH mother story. Maybe, that has smth to do with why heavenly emperor so hateful towards Moon tribe. Drama has 10 episodes left (cri cri crying😭) and they drop so many new plots in one episode! And I think it's brilliant, they made us care about each character first and now when we invested in them they put all this subplots/ dilemmas/ growth moment for them.

P. S. DFQC anxiously looking at XLH and CH talking but stopping himself from interfering is too cute. How I love him for respecting her boundaries. Also, he looked sad when he told CH that they gonna be enemies in the future.
