First thing I wanna say before i start ranting later on after my emotions settled: I hope all XLH haters, who were saying she was typical weak FL with no character growth will watch ep 28 and eat all their past words.

She is the most mature, strong willed and grounded chinese FL. After this episode, whatever happens next she is gonna be xianxia feminist icon for me. Everything she said is what i always wanted from all those supposedly strong FL before her.
Hope history is written here, and with her as an example we get bettet written FL in the future.

Ep 2 is very brief, maybe 10 mins of screentime. After that ep 12-13, if i remember correctly. Don't worry it is not major part of story. Those few scenes with body swap is hilarious and done to advance plot.

Another random thought (since i cannot stop talking about this drama🤣🤣).
Is there anyone who read Sansheng novel by same author as LBFAD? Whenever aunt Sansheng is mentioned i keep thinking about that novel and want more of that character. I was hoping she had a bigger part in drama, and maybe be a secondary couple with Moxi, since their novel is so short for full length drama.

Or how cool it be if we had shared TV universe as in novels. Like we have at the end of drama some characters who gonna be main leads in next.🙈 That what happened in novels, at the end of Sansheng we had Siming falling down the well or smth, and then there is her novel where she finds XLH (i guess cause i havent read Siming novel). Ik that Siming gonna have its own adaptation, but one still can dream🙃🙃

So I just want to appreatiate again how DFQC and XLH relationship aren't toxic.
And this is is when ML is demon lord, who is ruthless and sometimes cruel.
I can't believe with a ML like that, we have much healthier relationships than in dramas with uptight all nice and righteous ML.

I was thinking about giving a try to IS, since i like lead actors and story feels like smth i normally like. But whenever i watch yt clips, they bore me. And also is it just me, or CGI seems so much worse than LBFAD? I thought IS was promoted like next big thing this year, so i supposed production budget should large.

Agree. Mortal realm arks always feel like fillers. Just make 10-15 episodes more with leads meeting for first time again, that end in tragedy, which most of the time has no impact kn main plot🙄
But in LBFAD mortal realm ark make sense and progresses both plot and characters.

Also, was thinking about that moment in 25, when DFQC was angrily going around mansion and entered a room with DY and CH.
Is it me or he knew they were there but decided to let them be, cause he clearly looked to where they were hiding.

Somehow, i keep thinking even about little scenes😅

Yeah, that's a beauty of this drama. They made good stories for each possible pairing: XLH &DFQC, XLH&CH, CH&DY. Even mortal DFQC&XWQ had actual storyline, although it was like 5 mins of them together.

Remember Rong Hao said that he put Chidi spirit in some unexpected place. I wonder if scriptwriters get a bit closer to novel here (which is so different from drama) and her spirit gonna be in XLH🤔 As I remember Chidi got resurrecter in her body.

I normally don't likr SML to fall in love with someone, but here i really wish we just had a secondary couple of CH and DY.

First 5 mins of ep 26 are so epic. DFQC killing XWQ, XLH activating her powers and saving DFQC and then, as an icing on the cake, awesome fight between DanYin and Shangue (i so wish it was longer). I can't believe it all happened in just 5 mins, this drama so fast paced.
And then after all epicness, we get great character developement moments with XLH and CH, followed by all the cuteness between our couple.
Every episode I think LBFAD can't make me love it more, but it does with new episode.

Also, prob, many said here but i love how developed all secondary characters. Usually I tend to fastforward other characters/ couples moments because they feal so much like a filler and bore me. But with this drama, i care about each character, we dont see much of them, but each story so interesting and engaging. They encorporate them to main plot so well. I even loving RongHao and ChiDi pairing, hoping they show us a bit more of their past story, as they showed small him playing a flute. Also, wanna see more of fairy Dayin, such a beatiful character.

I whole heartedly agree about second point. Our couple have beautiful dynamics, they both powerful in their own ways: he is physical strength, she is emotional one. I wouldn't want her be as powerful as he is, it wouldn't make any sense plotwise. They would either fight or crush everyone around them.
As per YSX voice, i normally dont like higher female voices too, but i must say it fits XLH so well, and adds charm to her character.
