All those obsessively hating Feiyu should continue to stew in their hate as he continues to make bank and accumulate movie and drama credits. Also, everything you wish for him will return to you sevenfold. Good or bad
I'm watching one of his variety shows and he's basically an overgrown kid, it's completely different from his…
Thank you! That's my sentiments exactly. I didn't know anything about him before watching Ever Night but his performance was so impressive that I've been a fan since then. I wish the haters would leave him alone cos he's just a boy trying to live his life with the talent he's been given.
The vicious rumors about this woman are the reasons we don't see more beautiful Chinese actresses play the main roles. How can anyone say she's undeserving of the roles she got simply bcos she's too beautiful? It's madness. I wish Jing Tian all the best and hope she gets a better mgmt team cos someone is clearly out to get her.
Going out on a limb to recommend the following series that I believe you will love cos it seems we have similar likes and dislikes: Ever Night Story of Yanxi Palace The Crowned Clown
Let me first say your reviews are the perfect combo of snark and wit and each one has me chuckling and lol'ing. 😂😂
Secondly, I couldn't agree more that Zhou Dong Yu's face is utterly forgettable. Sadly, she's also one of many C actresses who are dangerously underweight. I watched five episodes of ALP and gladly called it a day.
"I knew I was going to hate this as soon as I heard Esther Yu's awful, whiney, cutesy voice as narrator. She's an entertainer, not an actress. I don't know what she trained as, maybe she is a pop idol and that's why she gets FL roles, but with that voice, that lack of acting ability, and her usual cutesy stupidity she brings to every single role, here's another drama for her to render completely unwatchable.
I've said this so many times, and I will continue to say it, innocence and stupidity are not the same thing. You can be a young woman who is naive and innocent, and still not need to be saved every few minutes, or constantly trip over yourself to make you more "relatable" by making you appear quirky. There is nothing endearing about behaving like a toddler, and anyone who finds that kind of Mary Sue behaviour endearing needs to grow up."
Thank you!! I stopped watching A Romance of a Little Forest for the same reason. That grating, silly, childish voice should not come out of a grown woman's mouth. I was able to watch LBFaD because of the well-told story and Dylan Wang's amazing interpretation of Dongfang Qingcing
I agree. Jin Han is better suited to playing villains since he has that dark and dangerous looking face. It could also be because the hair and makeup stylists really dropped the ball. They could have made him look better by darkening his eyebrows, contouring his bone structure, and pulling up that atrocious wig by half an inch. He is a handsome guy, just not a good enough lead. That said, you should watch him in The Princess Wieyoung....he played a vicious army general and pretty much stole each scene he was in.
