2 of the men are so quiet. I guess this is really an epidemic now, men not being able to have topics or like ask…
I don't want to make a generalized comment but its like most Asian men are like that. But I guess they're just awkward to new settings or they're too much into their heads. Also, its easier not to make a fool of yourself when you keep it to yourself. So I guess they're counting on that so at to not cause an upset.
But generally its because of the lack of experience. If you take a man who has lots of experience with women in his life there, he would be a chatter box. He would know how to interact with women and maybe even how to play them.
Some if not most of the Asian men are just too shy thats why you can see even holding hands is such a big deal. Its like you're an item doing that. Where I come from, it means nothing, unless its kissing. So if you want an outspoken man who leads and fun, then you won't have luck there. I watch most American dating show and they kiss by the second episode when the feeling is mutual. But here its precisely because of that it looks innocent.
Unfortunately you can't have best of both worlds.
Choose either men who are almost clueless, which can be frustrating, and you have to lead most of the conversation. Or the ones who are 'experienced' but can use that charm towards several other ladies.

Person Michelle Chen
Loved her performance in sniper butterfly πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.She is attending a lot of events and entertainment shows,…
I loved her too. Her acting was so natural. You could tell she lived that role. I hope more roles for her. She looks stunning for a 42 years old. I really believed that she was not older than late 30s. I guess some people just have that fountain of youth. Or maybe they take good care of themselves.
My only wish was that they had more moms here. Or at least a balance. It would have been fun to see their reactions. I am more surprised though how the kids agreed to go to a show where their parents are the panelist. Because I could never for the life of me.

I'm just confused why did they call the last one Heart Pairing
Because it was a spinoff and not a sequel of this show. There were some things different like the format for Heart Signal and Heart Pairing. For example, Heart Signal focuses more on who sent the other the signal and its basically the essence of the show. And they would get rewards for it. Since Heart Pairing was its spinoff, they kept some aspects of the OG series but this time (or at the beginning) they wanted it to be marriage oriented. Well, they failed at that. But you saw they introduced new concepts like picking books before meeting to match with someone who has the same interests as you.

I'm the same with both Kdramas or Cdramas. I'm finding that kdramas have gone down a lot in storylines. But that's…
No. You are right. I agree with your opinion. Recently Kdramas have been caught in that same web. They feel draggy and some of the concepts are becoming overused. Thats why you are seeing me here on a Cdrama page trying this out to hopefully get something new. Its not working out too well for me as you can see.
But I classify the dramas in eras. In the 90s and maybe early 00s, J-dramas were most popular asian dramas. Most people loved them. Then came 2010s to present, K-dramas became more popular. But K-dramas because they bought into that hype, they have settled on mass producing their shows. Which now has seen most of its quality go down. On the other hand, Cdramas are creating some of interesting shows. Maybe not to the level of popularity as Kdramas, but I can see their rise. Some of the recent Cdramas I have tried, I can see their projection. They have good materials just suck at execution.

I would have to agree with kdrama have perfected the episodic feeling. That's why i tend to wait until it's over…
Yeah, I have to agree. They mass produce Cdramas. So naturally they are easily accessible. But what about the quality? They got the right combo and you could even get that they have some of the best storylines but fail on the execution. Those fillers really kill their marketing.

Guardians of the Dafeng was so good and I feel you so much. I think it’s because the drama spent too long on…
Exactly, the characters aren't growing and they keep recycling the same ideas. And yeah, I don't know what trick Guardians of the Dafeng used, but it was soo good for me. Maybe its because it had too many comedic scenes that would make you laugh. But most important of all, I think they had most of the relatable characters. So even the side characters were interesting to watch.

I haven't watched this yet, but I feel the same about most every long drama I start. I'm generally watching when…
Its interesting how many people are finding this experience relatable.

Tbh I feel you 😭😭 It's rare for me to rate dramas a 9.0+ these days, which are ratings I consider dramas…
Thank you. Will definitely try out some of your recommendations.

I could swear this show was one of my favorites at the beginning. I wouldn't miss a single episode. Now, its like I don't even know anymore. But my guess is maybe the story changed so much and the chemistry between the leads got lost in my opinion. And thats what kept me watching.
But that is only a tip of the iceberg. I rarely get to finish any cdrama show. I start all excited about a cdrama but somewhere in the middle, I loose all interest. Maybe they overdo some concept, drag some bit of it or pretty much feel repetitive. I really had to literally force myself to complete who rules the world show, which was one of my favorites.
Maybe its just me, but I can't sit for most if not all modern cdramas. I find historical cdramas more enjoyable but even them, I can't sustain that interest till the end, which is now making me concerned. I can't believe that the Guardians of the Dafeng is the only show I enjoyed from the beginning to end. Its still my favorite show to date and it constantly had something to make you excited with every episode. Or maybe you can blame me because I am transitioning from Kdramas to Cdramas, which never promises to be easy. Kdramas have mastered the art of making you click to the next episode. I think they create that 'episodic' feeling to their show.
But I find Cdramas to have the best story beginning of shows. Like they start so strongly and promises you so much potential. But that feeling doesn't last long. I have dropped so many cdramas such that now I have lost count.

The second group was given almost 5 whole episodes and the 3rd group should be getting the last 4 episodes. The…
Its simply because the Manito was supposed to be kept a secret. But I think they were too inquisitive and in my opinion Noh Hong Chul blew things up when he started blowing people's cover. So their second day was supposed to be about exploring that mystery. So having removed the possibility of that, they now had to settle to the next part which made it finish faster than it was planned. Another reason is like you said, its star studded, so of course they must have their schedules fully packed.

I sure hope not. I thought the FL only had an extreme body weight loss.
I get you. But being kind to them doesn't mean I agree with their life choices. Its just because I am thinking if someone is willing to do that to their body, I think something they are missing is having positive self-esteem about themselves. So I think you can counter that by being kind to them. Which in this case doesn't mean praise them, which you were implying.

Started off good but felt anti-climatic towards the end. Its as if the writers ran out of ink on what to write. I am ranking it rather average only because of its beginning scenes which were interesting.
