I still believe they broke up because even if they are private they would be spotted together more often on a date or something. Except for a celeb, please name any couple that came out of the dating show and are private but are together (that includes marrying). Most lasting couples that are still together but are private are for example in heart signal Chinese season 2. I now can't recall their names but can tell from their IG is that they @knowinman and @unreal_tian. You don't see them posting each other a lot but they don't hide the fact they're in a relationship.
Maybe its because they don't vlogs and stuff, I believe they're private. I could be wrong.

They are in an environment where they just focus on love and relationships. So their emotional level is just heightened. So for them being there for 10 days felt like three months outside knowing each other. Some of these dating shows aren't allowed to use their phones often as they are encouraged to immerse themselves in the experience. Even for some of them would ask themselves if its because they felt competitive to win someone or was it because they were in love with them.
So all that experience change when they go outside. Distance and just life itself becomes a factor. Hence, that explains why most don't make it after they get out of dating shows. So its not that some dating shows are fake, it just becomes hard to completely absorb someone into your personal life.

So for the fact that those things never happened to them, it means they either rarely get together or they just broke up. So many rooted for them hence it won't be easy to reveal they broke up.
Just like how you never heard anything from Min Jae and Bo Hyun after they paired on the show but were never seen together. All along they had broken up.
So, yeah, if you don't get to see them on the show just know they broke up.

Maybe, it can motivate the singles seeing actual couples. Thats my guess.

Probably, to motivate the singles to get into a relationship. Also, I love seeing Da Hye and Dong Jin on screen and how their relationship looks like.

Here is fun fact about this spinoff, we will get to know whether Ha Eun and Hyun Gyu are still together. So many people have been speculating that they broke up long time ago. So, if you don't get to see them feature in the show, you have your answer.

Actually, that's all I was saying. He did everything except be by her side to offer her words of comfort. She grew up to be a depressed and gloomy person which he could have prevented. The synopsis says he is cheerful in nature, so if he could have lighten her life a bit she wouldn't have felt life to be harsh.
I think being by her side is more important than the rest of stuff he did. In short, its not other people he should have been trying to convince that she is not a witch. He should have been trying to convince her that she is not one. Just being around her and cheering her would have been immense such that she may not have quit school.
Her mental health deteriorated because she started to get convinced she indeed was a witch.

Also true. Though I would love her to grow and become even better actress in future. Its not bad being a bad actor at the beginning. She can use this experience to make herself even better. You can become good just like how Park Shin Hye surprised everyone in her last drama. She was so good that even critics praised her.

And he was just a bystander when she was ostracized as a kid. He did help her in the background but the fact he never found a muscle to go to actually pull her out of her misery doesn't sit well with me.

I loved loved the two episodes more than I expected. Also, why does both main and second couple look equally interesting? I would find myself rooting for one more than the other. But now having two interesting couples makes the overall show a joy to watch. Whichever scene you come across, you won't feel the urge to skip.
I hope it maintains this momentum and people grow to love it. But again its Choi Hyun Wook. Its like dude doesn't make bad dramas. Just look at his filmography, its like he has lady luck on his side. They're almost all hits. He's becoming soo successful for his age. This reminds me of Ji Sung and Choi Ji-woo (In her good old days), everything they touch turns to gold. Thats like an artist with no bad song.
