About Mudeok’s name being mentioned, remember everyone found out Naksu was pretending to be Mudeok in episode 20 so for them there is no Mudeok-I as there really wasn’t because before Naksu went into that body , it was actually Seol Ran in disguise as Mudeok anyways

It’s worth watching, they don’t spend long periods on focusing on the abuse, it’s intense and sad when they do but the actress is very good at showing her determination and strength she gained even though she went through such horrible things, she could’ve taken the suicidal route ( she even thought about it) but decided to live and to let those people pay for their crimes. I also said I wasn’t interested when I heard some of the things but I decided to try it for myself and I’m glad I did because it opened my eyes to what really goes on in this world and how different cultures and countries deal with things, at least I have the knowledge in case I plan to live or visit some of these countries.

I think he wore the same outfit to prove that he didn’t go home , sometimes for days and to show that he was so broken that his appearance meant nothing to him as his appearance in part2 was everything to him.
However the quality of his black clothing is Cheap AF for someone that is quite wealthy but then we also see him in the first episode talking about bargaining 😂

Because there was no real Mudeok, Mudeok was a fake name given to young Buyeon/Seol Ran by the old lady that found her and by the end of part 1 everyone knew that Naksu’s soul inhabited the body so now they only need to speak of Naksu and Buyeon by using their correct names

Yes a priestess and a shaman are also mages both falls under the umbrella of magic , the word mage is from the word magic so a mage is a magician, in part 2 episode 2 at 1:01:49 mark Jin mu says to mama Jin ‘Hus majesty has ordered You to bring Jin Buyeon to the Unanimous Assembly..’
Lady Jin replied.’ Since when did the royal family give orders to mages regarding the Unanimous Assembly?’

Different magicians perform a different type of magic but they are all magicians ( Mages)
Songrim uses illusion magic mixed with higher level martial arts that’s why they mostly fight where Jin priestesses are a female only institution that mainly focus on nature magic with only a basic level of martial arts.
Shamans use ancestor spirit magic and sometimes basic martial arts sometimes no martial arts unlike Songrim and cheonbuggan that focuses on martial arts with illusion magic.

A priestess is still a mage. However her abilities as a fighting mage was known to be extraordinary, she could create rain and snow at will, it would’ve been amazing to see her being able to use those skills regardless,
The Actress even seemed confused when she had to stand behind the ML at the very end and the director said ‘ you’re a priestess now’ so it clearly shows that wasn’t the initial plan.
Cho Yeon is a priestess and she has fighting skills too which she combines both when needed, so what’s the difference?
They messed up FL character and I won’t change my mind on that, I don’t expect to see her as an assassin because there’s no need to be a secret ( undercover) killer, however she should’ve had the chance to prove that she has self control just like all the others that also trained hard to fight.

Even the fact that part 2 was about a basically not -really-romance-romance 🤣 even that basic thing got messed up because they failed to convince the majority of the audience that ML fell in love with the same soul.

realised they messed up in
continuing the
story so last
minute they
actually split it
into 2 seasons.
It was listed as episode 21 for
ages until
suddenly it
changed to
part 1 episode 1, indicating it’s a whole new storyline even though the original storyline wasn’t finished.

They wanted to make romance the main storyline of season 2 but it failed because the ML ( main character) was not in any romantic mindset until episode 7 I think and it was for less than half the episode, he had a few minutes in the beginning of the following episode and maybe 7 minutes tops in the finale episode. That’s not a romance based story.😂

Ok, so I saw a interview with one of the producers ( I think he was😅) saying as soon as he saw “Hotel Deluna” he was in talks with Hong Sisters about doing something like this AOS and they planned it for 3 years.
Now 3 years is a long time to plan a messy story, this mess was happening since the very first half of part 1, eg. Master Lee narrated the events 200 years ago about the drought and the ice stone, he said ‘Hailstones fell and 1 turned into stone blah blah ( ice stone)
Then in episode 19 Master Ho Young( Buddhist monk) said ‘ Seo Gyeong destroyed all the ice stones’ we know he left only 1 for Seol Ran, so that is 2 different stories.

In part 2 we also learned that there was definitely more than 1 ice stone from 200 years ago, that is a big mess up for professional people working on this project.
The main concept of this show is about the soul, it has been the Principal nature of the story but then 21 episodes in out of No where the body becomes the principal nature? No but wait this only applies to the FL, with no explanation as to why the rules are different only for her? Jang
Uk was able to maintain the original
Principal nature of the story, He is The Late King’s son , Not Jang Gang’s and there was no mention ever from anyone saying the late king is only Soul father and Jang Gang is biological father, because Biology doesn’t apply but they suddenly want to apply it to Jin Family, because some weird ( childish) need to do parallel storylines?
A story is supposed to flow and AOS was a Stagnant Story tbh.🥰

Yes the soul ejectors has been the main form of sorcery from the ice stone itself, however Shaman Choi added a specific spell( curse) to the ejectors she made so she can completely control soul shifters that was created from the ejectors that she made.
