I agree with you, the pacing was slooooow and I'm still so confused about the agency and how they got involved…
Thank you for saying this because some people responded to my original comment by overlooking what I said and came to some conclusion that I was bashing it as being bad etc when all I was saying is the pacing was off( slow) and we really didn’t learn anything 9 episodes in.🌸🌸
What do you mean back story about a couple? Literally they're the main leads of the drama. I think upcoming episodes…
Perhaps. But they were other cameras I’m sure( don’t quote me on it though) However even if it was only tape recorders in that timeline I find it weird that they would not think boss boy would not be spying. I mean it’s not a simple job this is a very sensitive and Top secret work place that they work in and the mere fact that he ( boss boy) is putting her to spy on another work colleague, c’mon. I would not even trust the apartment I live in if that was me, old boy knows everything about her including her private life( her dad in the hospital etc) Anyways I accept that it’s the writer’s story and I’ll definitely see what they have in store for us next week as I’ve enjoyed the first 7 episodes and I’m still curious about the adults including a potential explanation as to why and how they come to have these abilities ( if the writer knows)
I understand your view, but how can you built a satisfying and appropriate falling in love story in one episode?…
Pretty sure I responded to a comment you made to me, if the computer wrongfully added your username to my comments( responses) I will apologise but yeah it showed you @ me in the comments above.
I think it’s important to remember the flashbacks are to set up why the parents went into hiding as they did…
It is what it is, I’m not here asking anyone to feel the way I felt about the episodes nor am I responding to anyone who enjoyed it trying to convince them how they’re wrong for enjoying them . I’m merely here saying how I felt about it and I’d like to think I’m allowed to do so. Enjoy your day 🌸

Ok, now, just to be clear I was really anticipating these 2 episodes as I saw we were getting some back histories on the parents and I was excited, the point is the only thing I remember from episode 8 is the opening scene ( the plane scene) For example Franks backstory was told in an episode with other things going on and it was clear. Episode 8 and 9 had Joo won in it but as a secondary character because it’s about mom and flying dad, we still haven’t seen mom’s full potential as even after 2 episodes it’s clear there’s more back story about them. And as I stated a few times I love a good backstory but in my opinion I didn’t enjoy their backstory that was being told in the 2 episodes as it felt dragging and off compared to the episodes before. There are many ways to tell a story without it feeling dragging. For example The Glory, it was a whole 9 episodes of planning but it did not feel slow as it was engaging. I understand that this is a different genre but the fact that it’s about people with extraordinary abilities, sadly it felt slow and underwhelming for me. It’s just my honest opinion. Btw I mentioned the kids( teens) because of what happened in episode 7 and it would’ve been ok if the storyline of the parents and why dad is not around now was more engaging and entertaining but it wasn’t for Me
I understand your view, but how can you built a satisfying and appropriate falling in love story in one episode?…
You can sprinkle it throughout, because tbh I didn’t see anything emotional about their love story. He’s been watching her from the failed projects .now they are spending some time together and clearly they have things in common and are attached to each other. Why do I need to slowly watch something to understand that ? Why do I need to sit and watch her staring at papers. Why do many clips of the man in the office and bad tasting tea over and over? Why make intelligent people silly at times to give a role to a receptionist?
What do you mean back story about a couple? Literally they're the main leads of the drama. I think upcoming episodes…
What do you mean what do I mean. So what if they are main leads? It’s slow and dragging in My personal opinion. Sitting watching female lead sitting in an office staring at paper work for more than 3 minutes is unnecessary. She works in the intelligence department, yet she didn’t think there would be a camera installed somewhere watching her movements? In fact not even the main lead whom is a black OPs? Seriously? It’s slow and after episode 7 I felt underwhelmed by these 2 episodes. I paused a few times to call and chat to friends about random stuff that means it didn’t have me engaged tbh.
Yes I actually do like a good back story but for me this was really slow paced in tellling it. It felt like even near the end of the second episode ( episode 9) I was still waiting for some revelation. I just don’t get it why it needed to be over an hour long since it took up both episodes. If all the episodes were released it would’ve been understandable but to wait for potentially more of their story is just a little dragging for me but as I said it’s because of the pace.
Not a fan of the pacing of episodes 8&9. I appreciate the back story but 2 episodes of back story about a couple is a big too much imo and I’m assuming the next 2 episodes will be more back story as we haven’t gotten flash and his parents backstory and I’m assuming we’ll be getting Joo Won’s story as well. I don’t mind as long as they show present time mixed with the past . Watching 2 episodes without the kids was really hard.
I just came here to say the same thing but tbh you summed it up perfectly. I’m so disappointed in this part…
I’m disappointed in the main characters lack of development and I loathe the character Insoo is playing tbh. It’s cringe to watch his character at this point.
In Part 1, Jin Mu planned to expose the fact that Mu-Deok was a soul shifter, Jang Uk was aware of that and althat…
In part 1, Jin-Mu did conspire with CP to expose Mudeok/Naksu which would and did end up killing Uk, remember it was CP that gave Jin mu the ok to go to Songrim to expose her , CP wasn’t aware that Mudeok was Naksu because Jin Mu didn’t tell him the details regarding her, however he did tell CP he had a way to get rid of Uk because Uk was a threat to CP being the true King’s star. Jin Mu knew Naksu would kill Uk because he actually directed her to kill the people that killed her father but that didn’t make any sense because she only killed Cho Yeon’s daddy and Uk when Dangu, Cho Yeon and Park Jin was on her list and they were right there in her sight yet she didn’t. This series is by far one of the worst Tv series when it comes to storytelling. It’s bizarre tbh yet Twitter is in meltdown that it didn’t win or U.K didn’t win any awards at the Baeksong or whatever it was when realistically it actually did not even deserve a nomination to begin with.
This is good drama. I'm curious is lee sara send to jail? And what about to hye jeong husband
Hye Jeong did not get married, she broke off the engagement to be with the colour blind guy. Yes Sa-Ra was arrested for attempted murder so she is in prison

As I’ve said I found these 2 episodes underwhelming. You did not, good for you. Enjoy your day.
