I think the discord between KDJ and other characters, the strike, etc. were put intentionally to set the stage for YSJ to come back because managing ER was her job in S1 it was even mentioned that when it comes to activities in ER even Kim sabu can't beat her. Also she also mught become a mentor for Eun jae. KDJ is harsh and doesn't explain much of his intention YSJ will be the translator between him and the staff while also be capable enough of going against him without silly plans like a strike that they did in S2. S4 is going to be a blast if they handle everything well and can become the best season in all the 4 as we will have all our S1 and S2 OP characters, a new hierarchy and a lot of romance(3 lead couples😂).
There is a good chance that there will be a S4 if not than they would not have made YSJ come back at the last movement for us to only see her suitcase 😅. Also even though things were handled yet but feels many things are left. Kim Sabu's plan still needs to be finalized and here it's only shown to be in started stages with KDJ coming back towards the end(13th episode ), the final team moment and at the end YSJ's return indicates S4. But I don't think they have enough story for S4 rather 4-6 episodes would be enough to get everything done. I hope they give us S4 soon.
YYS feels he is the true lead of series... suddenly main characters feels supporting in front of him. He truly…
He truly is awesome, I followed him since his drama warm and cozy. As far as him being a scumbag I don't know much about it because other than that interview question you will hardly find anything bad about him. He has appeared on many other dramas and reality shows. His role in hospital playlist, Dr. Romantic 1 and Mr. Sunshine are so cool and great.
The part where he saves her and held her while shivering until they reached the hospital and the way she just fits right into his arms Wow the hopeless romantic inside me started screaming with amusement🤣🤣 as it was so touching, bro is at the point where he can't deny anything now so he ran away to avoid being involved more. Maybe he is indebted to that friend(who might have died saving him or something) whom we saw in the flashback of ML who liked FL's books and later died so ML came to FL to get her to write a book which kinda explains why he wanted to be her publisher but knows nothing about her works. And when he realized he now wanted more so he backed out before he fell into it more
Such a good story, it's like watching various different puzzle pieces which are still complete pictures in themselves yet may turn out as mysteriously connected to each other and we either wait until the end for the answers or try connecting the pieces together while referencing the FL's actions. The dynamics between the ML and FL are also really good doesn't seem forced just flow with their complimentary personalities. My theory for the story until episode 8 is that FL was from a poor background and was in an abusive relationship with someone who was rich, the relationship was set up by someone from her family who she didn't like or they tried to use her for their own gain, thus she just wanted to run away from everything even if it meant someone took it from her as when everyone may envy her but nobody knows her suffering so we had a body swap plot. For the second story maybe she later tried to stand up for herself and prove herself by working hard but was outcasted and maybe harassed where no one believed in her. After this she became depressed and instead of a new chapter of her life she just wanted to give up on everything thus in the 2nd plot it's shown a new chapter start and she is not successful but is happy in her own world but that was what she wanted to happen. Later when she was at her worst she met someone who cared for her but that person left her for personal gain and never returned, thus the depiction of some sacrificing things they loved to become successful, which she wants to believe was the case. Towards the end, that person is shown to have died while trying to go back to his loved one, which may be due to the fact that she doesn't know what happened to him afterward thus the reason that he might have died thus is unable to come to her due to that reason. It's just some possible scenarios, the story is very much interesting, is very innovative and the characters just fit in their respective roles really well.
This is really a good story, the chemistry between ML and FL is fire, the bickering and funny exchanges in a different situation just fit the whole plot and doesn't seem forced at all. I don't know if there will be a romance part but I hope it will be at least for our FL if not for other characters whereas the other characters can get their own happy endings. Usually in this kind of plot someone either usually dies or things can go wrong a lot of times and some characters end up with bad or unexplained endings. But the only thing I didn't quite like is the lack of need for the character of ML. I have watched till episode 5 and until now even if he was not there there would not be much different rather things would have been much smoother. I really like the ML but other than him caring about the FL and other people in her squad, and his chemistry with FL he actually doesn't have any strong points for the plot. It's like how Yoona was in K2 other than moral support or being a love interest have not much significance in the development of the plot.
why do I see so many people comparing the characters of s1 & s2/s3? Especially on Instagram. I don't understand…
True, People are exaggerating KDJ's skills too much when they say he is on the same level as Kim Sabu because as far as I know Kim Sabu has work experience more than the total age of KDJ so it's not possible at all. But if you look deeper into it I don't think KDJ meant beating Kim Sabu as beating him in skills rather by doing what Kim Sabu failed to achieve and that was to change the dangerous one sided perspective of doldam and lack of order in there, as well as the total dependence on Kim Sabu, so he is trying to change those things and letting them see other things too. KDJ does not have any natural talent if compared to SWJ, KDJ just worked like no tomorrow starting from young age due to his revenge obsession due to which he wanted to prove himself which didn't change even after he let go of the revenge. Plus KDJ and Kim Sabu are polar opposites both are right mostly thoroughout S1 and in S3 and both lack somewhere and they both are learning. KDJ admired Kim Sabu's skills but conflicted in ideology thus he wants to prove himself right by working on his skills like he always did while abiding by his ideology and that's why he practiced without anyone teaching him and learned things that way. In terms of talent In bum would be first but he never won against KDJ because he never stopped working and learning. As for SWJ he is like a pure character just like Kim Sabu and YSG, his natural talent is scary good and he adapts really well. If not for his injury him and KDJ would make the best team for any surgery. For me the true bliss moment was seeing the parallel from S1 btw KDJ and Kim sabu, and S3 SWJ and KDJ. KDJ and SWJ both in their respective seasons fought against things yet recognised their skills and started respect the other party.
And I quite understand why Kim Sabu brought KDJ back to the trauma center. Because he wants Doldam in a better…
There really isn't time if you look at things let's just consider KDJ never came to doldam in S3 and they still keep doing things with passion and keep ignoring professionalism do you think doldam would survive? and this is a crucial time for doldam where minute mistakes can create problems for them. Also another possibility for him is to wait until everyone settles but do you think they will change their stance even if KDJ waits, Kim Sabu's ideology is really good but incomplete just like how KDJ's ideology in also but yet incomplete but everyone depends to much on Kim Sabu to the point that they will never accept KDJ preposition for changes it's like how a frog in the well will think the world is only big enough to fit into the well. Which is why Kim Sabu supports KDJ as he knows extremist approach is the only solution to show things to everyone and even though it doesn't work they will now have 2 point of views rather than one. As things are right now they will never accept a leader with a different ideology than Kim Sabu so being a leader is not an option just think about it why he never stopped operating even after he received so many warning for his hand injury as he knew if the leader collapses everything also will and doldam was not ready to let go of him in S2 but can now in S3, another side is them boycotting KDJ also shown how inexperienced they are as they say saving patients is important yet choose to leave a whole center running on a single doctor isn't that hypocrisy then? That's why no one can be Kim Sabu only he can be himself due to his knowledge and experience.
The writers have definitely made Kim sabu gentler along the seasons. I just watched s1 recently i can say with…
From what I remember even a single compliment was so tough for anyone to recieve from Kim Sabu that it took until episode 16 or 17 where Kim Sabu said "you did good" to KDJ, and I think that was the first compliment any of the them in S1. Kim Sabu used to be way more harsh than how KDJ is in S3.
these doctors and some doldam staff been longing for the doldam trauma center to happen yet don't even know how…
True, if they were not going to differentiate between trauma center and ER they should have just opened another normal hospital instead. But even so in a normal hospital they need to follow rules and system, which of course never happened much in doldam is Kim Sabu was always skilled enough for any gamble or the problems were solved by showing off humanity, etc. and I think this is the reason why KDJ was given the role by Kim Sabu to correct those things. If S1 cast comes back and agree with KDJ then boycott is nothing for him as in S1 they lacked staff member to the point that doldam was nearly not functional, and that too with outdated and faulty equipments, and they that time Kim Sabu only gave orders and no explanations so mostly things were solo rather than teaching stuff or working together happened not so often. S2 cast is more pampered in those terms by doldam and Kim Sabu in those aspects.
episode 13 was such a great episode, the introduction of new order in doldam a rather systemetic and much more…
also it would be great if YSJ is back after KDJ's plan because if she comes earlier KDJ's nature will switch to goffy and comical one as he is completely different for her than for anyone else🤣🤣 plus we all know she can control him really well so the power dynamics will fall.😂😂
episode 13 was such a great episode, the introduction of new order in doldam a rather systemetic and much more risk free approach to doing things. Ofcourse it's going to meet up with resistance as everyone has been trying to be like Kim sabu and treat patients without any other considerations other than saving the patients. But we all know as KDJ said only Kim sabu can be like Kim sabu as he as practical experience more than the total age of KDJ, he has seen and done all kinds of procedures when it comes to medical practices so when he says I won't follow rules I need to save the patient than it's okay because he sure can as he is at a point where is perception is almost 100% towards medicine but it's not the same of any of the other character in all of doldam not even outside of it. Also it could only be KDJ who has the nature to bring this change as the only character who never yeilded to even Kim Sabu, In bum and yoon seo Jong would not be fit for this as YSJ is similar to Kim sabu in nature more than any character so far and In bum is more of a follower. We need to understand doldam is now not the unknown isolated hospital in the middle of nowhere where nobody knew a legend was working for 15 years but is now well known and famous while admist of fighting against very powerful antagonists who will tear this place apart if there is any weakness and we all know the problem is the lack of order, regulations and complete emotinal amd moral dependence on Kim sabu.
The conflict between Dong Joo and Eun Jae is so damn interesting. They both are in the right. But I'll support…
if we look at it this way we get the image of Kim sabu from S1 no explanations only order and execution. It takes a while for people like Kim sabu and KDJ to make people trust them completely. But they have the ability to ignite that trust by their skills.
It's such a bliss seeing the parallels between S1 and S3, in S1 KDJ didn't like kim Sabu nor did he agree with him, but when he saw him operating he was astonished by his perfection and speed. Then his stance changed to even though I can't agree with him I still can deny his skills. Similarly we have woojin and KDJ here woojin too disagreed with KDJ but watched him operating in God mode🤣 and was similarly astonished. Also, Kim Sabu was stubborn in S1 but he wasn't wrong which is also the situation with KDJ in S3. I don't know why but I am getting a feeling that he will replace kim sabu in surgery part and kim Sabu may retire and take up a management or leadership kinda position like the director in S1 that's why they are showing parallels to place the character into those new roles. Just imagine Kim Sabu as the main director, KDJ as trauma center head, YSJ as doldam ER head, woojin as best doctor under the head and similary Eun jae under YSJ in ER where these 2 will also be the most probable candidates in line to succeed KDJ and YSJ. I think they are making this kind of picture from how I see S3 in the latest episode.
Don't worry the FL of S1 also had a hand injury which was also quite bad and that too on top of a trauma. She still made through even though it took 5 years, but now is kinda one of the overly powered characters in the show.
I better not see y’all come for Kang Dongju in the next episodes, cause he has proved how crazy, stubborn and…
Those of us who have watched the S1 know that many a times we needed someone who would say things that were needed to be said and also with a more human like response not idealistic and this was where his character shined. KDJ was rough around the edges but was mostly justified given those specific situations, and he was good when situation permitted. Also he kinda made kim sabu become more considerate and expressive by retaliating against him whenever kim sabu did something which could be misunderstood or was rather stern to not accept other possibilities, he really questioned him where ever necessary.
I rewatched first season after ending of 12 episode. Kang Dong Joo has always been stubborn and quarrelsome, but…
From in POV his actions were more relatable as compared to other character in S1, he behaved similar to how most of the people would when put in those situation. The rest of the Doldam characters were rather angelic like they didn't care about themselves at all nor about there personal progress nor the problems they have to put up with, they were shown only to care about the patients and there well being and ignore rules when needed, so apart from few points they were less relatable and were rather idealistic. I hope they don't ruin his role for the sake of moving the plot rather execute it well to enhance what we already have.
I have not watched season one so can someone please tell me what kind of person donju was, his back story and…
Adding to the points mentioned already if you watch S1 you will see that donjo is polar opposite of kim sabu who is like the version of him who gave up to the system and went against his beliefs clouded by his revenge. He later was still opposite of kim sabu but became firm with his beliefs and grew from an amateur doctor who feel into the antagonists plan for kicking him out just after a while of passing his board certification to a full fledged doctor equipped with self taught version of skills of kim sabu obtained from practicing and observing kim sabu's operations and later he was able to compete against him in terms of speed, efficiency and precision which apart from kim sabu's vast medical knowledge were his main key skills. He also is a comical character with hell lot of embarrassing moments in S1 specially his ability of selective hearing where he can just upfront selectively ignore things in conversion and say what he wants too😂 which is like kim sabu in some respect. I would recommend you to watch S1 if possible, even though the seasons are made in a way that the story line is independent of previous one yet it's a season filled with all kinds of things blending into one beautifully constructed drama.
