I know many people are criticizing this series due to recent episodes but as you can see each season was focused on completely different things the S1 was where everything started there we need flawed but god-tier talent characters as there was no good equipment, understaffed with only 2 doctor (Kim Sabu and kang dongjo which later barely increased to 6-7 towards the end) so there we need character driven for growth who had their own purpose for being the best. But as they were written that way we know they were not going to stay as the doldam will soon become a bottleneck to their skills (like kim sabu's skills and yoon seo jong were the reason kang dongjo stayed in doldam). In the second season, we now had the hospital with a good amount of staff, facilities, and equipments hard-earned by the characters from S1. So we no longer needed characters striving to be the best but rather doctors who will be the future of Doldam as students of kim sabu as we can see from how soft he became from his experiences in S1 he is now a much better teacher which can be backed by seeing the growth of the characters from S2. Here we needed expansion rather than survival. In season 3 now as everything is in place the final plans of kim sabu are now taking shape and he is trying to complete them as soon as possible because he is also not completely healthy at this point and also needs other characters to carry on the things. The story may seem bland in the current season but it still corresponds to the intent of the story. Someone who has watched S1 and S2 will kinda understand what I am saying. For the people who are complaining about how kim sabu handled lee seon wung's situation is actually not that contradicting he always had a much softer side for the people with traumas or problematic upbringings. For example, he was similar to In bum who was the son of the antagonist of S1, In bum made a lot of ethical mistakes but kim sabu more or less ignored them in the hope that he will one day understand things and grows as a better doctor and come out of the prison he has build in his mind.
I really find it funny when people here say they don't like S1 or they don't like s2😑 like literally both season and it's characters are completely different and both are peak level dramas on their own. People need to understand if there was no popular S1 there would not be any S2 and if there was no popular S2 there wouldn't be a S3. I am from the original fan base of the show and when I first watched Dr. Romantic there was no S2 🤣😭 and I still remember my excitement when S2 came out. Also as for KDJ vs woojin, I don't think they should be compared at all although they both ended up liking the daughters of the antagonists of their respective season🤣🤣 there is no other similarities plus KDJ has I guess 8+ something years of experience over woojin so I don't think they should be seen as competitors rather he could be a mentor to woojin not just him all the big 3 from S1 can be mentors to S2 characters I would be so nice because only Kim sabu is the mentor and sole connector to all the staff which made him sacrifice so much even to fight with his injury recurring, etc. He can take a breather if there are more characters who can take up positions of leaders or mentors in doldam. I really like all the characters from S1 and S2, and hope they don't introduce unnecessary competition between the characters rather show how powerful doldam is now with all of them working together🔥.
yes KDJ wasn't at all a leader types 🤣 in S1 his character was the most powerful in terms of skills and the perfect leader type was Seo Jung. Maybe Seo Jung might come back for the reason or maybe they will need In beom for that as he can inherit the hospital.
Let’s talk about that teaser. Tbh I only remembered a few important aspects of s1, but after watching some videos,…
In S1 more or less in every episode Kim sabu and Kang dong joo were seen fighting 🤣 it was more or less like a way how they communicated. And from what I have seen from S1 he wasn't thaught by Kim sabu but rather he took every skill he saw from everyone around him so he might be the only one who can replace Kim sabu and also he has worked with seojung(quite closely😆) who has a hand injury so maybe he might be of help for woojin. I really want all the characters back at the last episode and for them all to be in a single frame😭.
Finally, Kang Dong Joo is back and still has the same feisty personality as ever😂😂 I don't know if woo jin will be jealous of him for being close to Dr. kim just like how he was back than in s2 with In bum because Kang Dong Joo wasn't really a student of Dr. Kim rather they only fought all the way from episode 1 to last😂😂 he was the only one who developed his skills on his own at a scary rate and got his ass kicked by Dr. Kim and Yoon Seo Jung😂. Maybe Kang Dong Joo will fight everyone again and we will have Yoon Seo Jung in the later episodes to get him under control.
This drama has such great actors but lacks story and concept, for example, there was no need for the gaming part in the story other than being a filler for 4-5 episodes. Don't know why but the writer just had to fit in any tragedy they can find into the past of ML and FL. The only things keeping me in this drama are the comedy and the ML and FL actors, like seriously There is no substance to the story. What I dislike the most is that the ML is subjected to all kinds of misunderstandings, and the FL just keeps everything to herself while judging the ML without asking him anything at all. She just gives him the cold shoulder here and there and the ML just keeps wondering what did he do wrong all the time. So it's like she has feeling for him but won't accept them upfront saying she doesn't want to get married so why start anything then goes on to flirt with him wherever and whenever possible, the ML thinks maybe things are working then FL start avoiding him, he still takes up the courage to confess she rejects him but then again starts flirting with him after an episode, later expects him to confess again and well I don't know why the ML still does confess again still she puts him on probation kind of and tells her grandpa on the call there is nothing that can happen between her and ML and she walks past ML without explaining anything at all but expects him to come clean about everything, and the ML again was judged even by her in episode 19 she says all kinds of things to him as if there isn't an ounce of trust between them. Then again the ML is the one who goes to her for the 3rd time wtf seriously it really ruined the kiss scene that I was looking forward to so much for the last 9 episodes and what now she just accepted him, she now doesn't have anything against relationship and just forgets how she told her grandpa in the morning that nothing is going to happed between them like does it even make sense it took her 19 freaking episodes but nothing happened but a 5 minute talk just solved everything that was keeping them away well it was mainly FL keeping ML away but still. Both ML and Gao Leng are kind of treated the same way and they both for their characters are written just like simps. I was looking forwards to the confession and the relationship part of this series so I waited until episode 22 came out, but they just had ruined it. I just poured my raw opinions after watching until episode 20, the show is great for comedy and actors but the story I can't say much about it. I will still try to finish the show as I am a fan of both ML and FL, I just hope they don't make it worse as there are still 12 episodes left. I hope they can work together on a better project again.
It's a little bit strange to see how biased this drama is while introducing the plots when it comes to gender. The FL says to Gao Leng that women are more reproachable, people judge their work life on the basis of their private life, well I agree with it for sure but it is also the same for guys. Just like how just a comment from one girl made Li Chi a criminal without even any concrete evidence, there is no innocent until proven guilty for men. Even though that guy is annoying but still everyone just accepted the fact that he was a criminal and we all know that even though he was proven innocent in the end companies still fire them for one reason or the other. Another is the rumors about the ML isn't it also the same for him too, nobody cares about his problems they just think he is dating the higher-up who is helping him. Also, girls like Yin Yin and that director are also doing bad things but does anybody care well no, not at all. Also the relationship between Gao Leng and Chen shu, it isn't working for me at all, Chen shu just broke up with Gao Leng due to rumors that they were dating openly I don't think this was the first time this kind of rumor would have circulated about them. Plus Gao Leng punching Li Chi was more or less what any guy would have done, there was no other solution for that, like was he supposed to just ignore everything also the rumors could have been handled even though not completely solved by stating the obvious instead of leaving things to people's imagination. But here they just straight out antagonized Gao Leng's actions and Chen Shu didn't even bother considering his feelings or what he had to say, she just conveniently broke up with him. Back to the ML isn't his work also not being appreciated and people are judging him for being in his position just because he is dating a higher-up, even when FL was suspected of being rich all the employees started gossiping about how ML switched for the better deal and all. It's a great show but still if something is not right, it's not right irrespective of gender.
I don't know why I feel that Go Mi Sook(GMS) will be way too obviously shown to be the killer but I don't think she is, and from her nature at least from what I have observed she may be spiteful but is not courageous rather she always makes others do things for her like when FL gets kidnapped, I think GMS knew that was going to happen but let it happen to get rid of her brother for a while and create trouble for him while also find more about FL. I think she is close to the killer thus she knows the story but is too scared of him but her narcissistic personality makes her want to flaunt those secrets in the open (I am not sure just a guess). And I think there are chances of 2 killers where one is a spy and the other one is just a killer, the cafe could be the spy's information exchange hideout or something. All in all the story is just great till now as well as the acting plus the well-time-comical scenes are also layout well alongside a hint of romance. For the time-traveling part, I think it's a loop that's happening again and again, and thus the suspicious behavior of GMS and her brother in the year 2021 in the later episodes which suggested as if they knew something. Maybe the ML & FL fail every time and then ML or FL after one of them dies the other one goes and places the time machine at the place where the new loop's ML finds the time machine. But this time it will be different or we will see a re-run but the other person maybe the ML or FL (who isn't in the time machine) this time won't know what happened and thus the title is kind of similar to 365: repeat the year.
One misunderstanding, all progress goes back to square one. 😂😂viewers are getting frustrated with hot /cold…
I suggest you should wait till next week episodes are out because the way previews show the progress, I think it's better to wait after episode 12 until episode 22 doesn't come out.
I think there may be some plot twist or something...Or else, think about it, if FL were to accept his confession…
I actually don't like the pecific set of episodes where one of the leads just don't accept their feelings and thus with each episode, reduce the amount of episodes in which we can see them together. I am okay if they put like 4-5 episodes which makes sense but here even till 20 nothing decisive so only 8 episodes now😭😭.
That line that she dont have any feelings for him make no sense because first time in initial episode she told…
yes she actually convinced him out of the misunderstanding which was actually quite a big misunderstanding handled really fast by saying "can you not see how genuine my feelings are for you😑" and then then ML was like okay cool no misunderstanding everything resolved 😂😭🙂 but now ML has to prove his feelings for her and get her feelings out of her in the open for like 10 straight episodes even when she goes as far as to go on a date with some stranger instead of giving him a chance, the amount of difference in efforts😂😂.
This drama is really good with all the naturally comical scenes, the slight yet definite romance flowing through each episode plus the progress in the starting episodes is also quite fast. The only thing that I don't like is that from the preview of episode 20 the FL is yet to accept the ML, which doesn't make any sense to me at all. Although dramas with 24 or 28 episodes usually give confessions acceptance in 18-22 episodes, it still doesn't align with this story as there is nothing that seems like a barrier to take up that many episodes in this drama for the relationship to start. I think from the episode 16 preview the place, time, and situation were more than enough for it as we can clearly see FL like the ML and ML is well really obvious and doesn't hide anything, there is no misunderstanding at all between them as everything got cleared up till episode 16. Plus the way they are making the ML do all the chasing seems rather unfair, okay someone should initiate the process but it should be his sole responsibility to carry the whole thing all the time. From what I can predict ML is going to have a heart attack and then FL will confess because she will realize her feeling which is totally unnecessary as they have already been in a relationship before like what's even new is there to figure out for her. I actually am feeling quite bad because I thought I would be able to see them together for a good span of episodes as the story seemed rather simple and amusing which is quite ruined now given the previews.
I think many FLs are made that way to give them a tomboyish personality, because guys usually interact that way…
Wow some really nice points there, truly there are many propoganda that dramas follow which even I don't like for an instance FLs being written as stupid, excessively drunk, MLs treating FLs like shit (thank God they stopped doing that), portraying mostly male characters as cheaters, making MLs get stabbed or get hit by a freaking truck😂 to get a confession out of FLs or clear a misunderstanding, etc.
I don't think there will be a lot of romance in this drama maybe a little bit enough to qualify as slight romance…
Well I guess🤔 you have a thing against romance in the dramas but there are different categories of dramas where other than viewship, ratings, money they follow a certain pattern that's what identifies them and the story alongside defining what type of audience the drama seeks but you point is correct too about some forced elements because majority of people demand it and that's because they are in entertainment business not entertainment non-profit so I guess they do need to follow trends to a certain extent but they more or less do not mess the pattern of the story or the genre in the process, they kind of make the plot overall likeable to most of the audiences taste. And anyone can more or less already notice these patterns and story types after watching a fair share of diverse dramas. And I agree with you👍 where you said they can be friends that is also a route many dramas take where they only hint some connection between the characters but never confirm them and that's okay too. But it don't make it a reason for someone to drop the drama as far as I can see it just adds more elements to it and plus the dramas with not so complex plot which are made only for enjoyment do lose a fair share of content to put in the scenes. Plus it's just slight romance it's not like they are putting unnecessary make out scenes or questionable scenes (I think you get my point😅) to cater to the international audience because that's what, which usually can kind of ruin the drama if not properly alinged with the plot. 🎉 By the way some good recommendations from my side for no romance dramas are memorist, 365 repeat the year, awaken, doctor prisoner, the veil, hot stove league, etc. you can try them they are really good too.☺️
Yet another Kdrama where the FL is absolute shit.An entitled moron who thinks it is her right to abuse and hurt,…
I think many FLs are made that way to give them a tomboyish personality, because guys usually interact that way (not seriously hitting each other just taunting and all) so to make audience feel like the FLs has a kind of tomboy personality they put those characteristics there. And in nearly all the drama in which the FLs are like that the ML most of the times does things that makes them seem unreliable or somewhat corrupt like in bad and crazy, arsenal military academy, etc.
FUN DRAMA....but as the plot is moving forward, feeling little scared......cause whenever i start enjoying any…
I don't think there will be a lot of romance in this drama maybe a little bit enough to qualify as slight romance at best. But usually they put in the slight romance part to add a more comical feel to the story because a good set of scenes cannot be included unless there is a bit of romance in there, moreover I have never seen a drama which killed it's story using slight romance in this kind of setting nor I think there will ever be so don't worry. But if you don't like romantic comedy you won't be able to see most of the k-drama or c-dramas anyways so I think you should give that genre a try because most of them actually turn out to be really good.
I don't know why but I think that people new to K-dramas or C-dramas don't know that there are dramas solely made just for amusement and comedy without much logic or complexity in the plot. Shows like Welcome to Waikiki, delivery man, psychopath dairy, etc. fall into this category. It is not that the writers or crew don't know how to make a drama rather it's because these dramas are made like that in the first place. And for sure we need these kinds of dramas so please if you can't understand this please stop rating these dramas low and stop writing in the comment that you wanna drop it or something as it ends up discouraging other people from watching them without even trying them out first.
