I love this whole statement so much that I have to repost it without writing my own. I 100% agreed. I would give casting for this drama at 1 point though.

I also dropped this drama for the same reasons. In addition, I like the FL actress and she's very pretty but seriously, her facial expression in this drama, I could not stand watching the wide-eyed blank stare yet flirtatious look for every emotion. Can't recommend this drama no matter how much I like the lead actor.

hmmmnn... Haven't yet met a person whom spends most of his/her time in the hospital with a terminal illness to be keeping up with fashion. As for her dialogue, it shouldn't be smooth and "whole" like everyone else's. I am not sure if a person in her condition and situation would have the same view about the world and life that still capable to communicate the way we think he/she would. There are flaws in this script, but it is quite good. The way the actress portrays her character as being a bit awkward, a bit naive, and insecure is very good. We supposed to see her character's flaws.

Nah, an evil person like that should never get an acting job again.

I am on ep 5 and I am dropping it. I don't care how the story will turn but so far this FL character has proven herself to be weak and dumb so I am done. These days and age women are much smarter and stronger. These writers are so out of touch. And the extension of episodes? Wow. This should be the red flag!

A hard DROPPED!!! Love Liu Xue Yi but aside from this nothing else about this drama is worth continuing to me. Done at ep 25 though I should have been done with it at around ep 10.

Ok, I love zombie or monster movie genre. I was so excited to start this drama especially with the female detective seems to be a cool beginning. Until I see how "stupid" characters are portrayed in this drama. I am on ep 3 and on Ep 2 where the mother of a little was holding back 1 monster to save her daughter. That detective couldn't open the car door so she sat inside and trying to shoot while the little girl was screaming for her mom. She didn't know how to just use the passenger side to get out and shoot? A detective without any self defense ability? She's so F" weak it's frustrating. Anyways, as much as I love zombies, I like to see a bad a** zombie killer much more so I am dropping this drama.

That guy has such a pretty face. Even so I hate his guts in this drama. Yet, if I were an actor, I would love to play a villain.

Because the directors wanted to break hearts such as yours. And of course, pretty crier should cry more. That'll make the drama more successful.

She the FL, we're supposed to like her and we will. She'll get her time soon.

I wasn't going to response because I think this forum is great for people sharing personal opinions and feelings relating to this drama. However, I don't agree with you. I am not protecting or siding with the ML here. You're being one-sided without seeing it. Yimeng also keeps secrets from him. ML here falls for her knowing she's not to be trusted as well so both of them do the same to each other. There's no victim when it comes to this except for the fact that he's much more gentle to her than she is to him. If this was a game, she knows somewhat of how the story goes for everyone so she has the upper hand compared to anyone else. And nope, I am not saying the ML should be forgiven, what I am saying is she thinks she knows him but she doesn't as he doesn't toward her as well. So if harming someone without really know for a fact that they're trying to harm you, what does that make you? Not gullible? I like the FL and from looking at the direction this story is going, she's going to have some hard time with herself for jumping to into conclusion about him without doing her own do diligence. I am waiting for those moments to come, not to hate on her but I'll be crying with her. Have fun watching!

Ok, done with ep 24. The ML's uncle should die; he's evil. The King should die a hundred more times; not fit to be king as he's also evil. Nan Rui is dumb so should never have power. Chu Gui Hong should die too, he's both stupid and evil. He hasn't done anything right or beneficial for anyone. Song Yi Meng, she needs to be slapped many times until she wakes up from drowning herself in her own one-directional judgement. Girl needs to put herself in others' shoes for once and understand their perspectives to better save her own self and change her fate. Nan Heng, he should just kill everyone and find someone who will love and treasure him. Poor guy. If I were to write this story, I would have the uncle dies in the ugliest way, the king dies in full of regrets and hatred for himself, and Chu Gui Hong dies in loneliness and being haunted by his own loved ones for not investigate into their deaths. I am totally turning evil like Nan Rui Hong. LOL.

She's all too caught up in her own head thinking she knows everything and only her perspective is correct.

She should take that out on her parents.

It's definitely the makeup and stylist issues. Their faces aren't too similar but the way they dress and hairdos, though one has it up and one has it down but I feel you. I got confused for a bit too.

ML I've always liked him so no comment. FL, I like the actress and have seen her in other dramas. However, in this particular character, I feel like her eyes are so "blank". I just don't feel any emotions from watching her.
