In fact, in the novel, when Wen Xiao Liu wanted to trap Jiu Jiu (aka Fei Fei in the drama), she sang a song about missing someone forever and not being able to forget the person. She was thinking of Chang Xuan when she was singing the song.

The only trap to capture Jiu Jiu is to use ayoung woman to sing a sad song.

I occasionally reread the novel. There are scenes in the novel that are different from the drama.
