Jumping from one ship to another.

She tried to kill XY so CX completely ignored her so other concubines did the same. Until her brother, Feng Long, died protecting CX. CX promised her dying brother to retain her position as his Empress.

Xin Yue is an ambitious woman. If CX is not a prince, she will ignore him completely.

CX actually hates Xin Yue in the novel because in his eyes, she stole the empress position from Xiao Yao.

Me - 10 every time ZWY's emotional makes me weep.

These two are opportunistic women. They deserve their bad ending.

Season 2.

In the novel, CX will spend one month every year with Ah Nian. XY thins at least, Ah Nian has CX for herself for one month. Unlike Xin Yue and others in the Middle Plains.

So, Ah Nian has the best deal as CX will always give her a special treatment compared to others.

CX is violated by Xin Yue. Yuck. I hate Xin Yue now.

Of all the female characters, I cannot stand Xin Yue.

FFB/ XL senses something is going between FFYY and TSH.

In the novel, CX dislikes every woman he married even Xin Yue. Except Ah Nian because she is an idiot.

XY is in debt with XL so XL exploited that while accepting TSJ's deal ie. 37 years of military supplies for his dying battalion.
He loves XY too.

So, the whole thing benefits XL in a way.

Accurately portrayed, I'd say.

I like Eddie Peng's down to earth personality in real life. He's a very nice person.

Thank goodness Yang Zi is a good actress too. Good pairing.

Not recommended at all. I regret reading the novel because I know the ending and all plots now. No more excited about the new episodes.
