If you observe her hairstyle, she is still unmarried. I think she tried to kill MZ following the death of her mother. But, she failed.

MZ played dirty by arresting her father so that's why she ends up marrying him to protect her family.

The curse stone was to kill her son.

One of the scenes shows her drinking a bowl of medicine and she ends up struggling on the floor. I think she is pregnant with Yu'Er but she decides not to keep the baby knowing that the child will still be exposed to danger and she hates MZ.

He battered her with a sledge hammer. LAR's return to her home country is now delayed.

I think LAR attempted to kill Mu Ze following this event to avenge for her mother's death. Saw that scene in one of the trailers.

Don't know why Mu Ze would still consider marrying her instead of killing her.
