There is no first prince. They used to have a Crown Prince but I think he died. Mu Ze recalled that when they were both little, Mu Chuan gave him a piece of bread to eat but MC fainted and nearly died from hunger.

Maybe I shouldn't have read the synopsis or watched the trailer beforehand but I cringed watching the first few…
She was only 18 in the story and Mu Ze arranged everything to ensure she fall for him.

Xing Fei is 27 and Jing Chao 36 so the age gap is pretty evident in their scenes. Zhai Zi Lu is only 24 so he looks younger than Xing Fei.

I feel the paring of Leo Wu and Zhao Lusi is perfect.

Is this adapted from a novel? I love this story very much. Jing Chao should be given more airtime because he is such an excellent actor portraying Mu Ze who is cruel and tyrannical.

One thing I notice is Mu Ze actually loves Lu An Ran.
