Honestly it slowed down to pick back up. Once it gets to why his father hates him and how his mother dies, it’s very intense imo. However it’s all preferences. This story was perfect for me as I can’t stand those misunderstandings type of drama.

I find her acting to be on point. Her character doesn’t fight, she’s the brains not the brawn’s. I don’t concentrate on her face though, more on the storyline. To each there own, everyone can watch the same drama and have different conclusions.

I am at ep 3. Ist because of the budget? Because the fight scene is looking so fake. So instead of looking cool…
I think everyone has different tastes, I find the fighting scenes to be well executed. So much better than the I have power and then CGI take over type fights. As the story progress you’ll see the different facial emotions that LYR displays…it’s way better than some other actors out there…just my opinion. Hope it picks up for you. 😊

Personally I think the actors can contribute to our likes and dislike. For example I love Bailu, but didn’t care for the ml in SOKP. Just from my perspective. Hope you find something you really like soon! I’m off to finally watch last immortal, because it’s continuing from Ancient Love Poetry, and Lin Yun Rui is also in it lol!😁😘
