From what I've read so far, they decide to tell Jeng's mom first so she can support them in talking to Jeng's dad. The mom is supportive. I'm not sure about the dad just yet. I'm reading a version that's being actively translated.

agreed. they’ve cut out a lot. and with this only being 8eps there is no way they will do thier relationship justice. im expected a big time jump and then a skip to the end of vol2.

I'm glad you brought up Ae and the friend because I DEFINITELY felt like something was going on between them or that he wanted something to go on between them. When she called him her husband and Pat the Baby Daddy I was laughing but I took note of his look, like he wasn't opposed. And he looked REAL sad when Khanun proposed to Ae and she accepted.

I'm with you! Chot is my favorite. The one-liners are immaculate. When Chot said, "Jeng you walked up like a cat" I LOST it! And last week when Chot told Pat, "MmmHmm these men swarming around you girl." I screamed! Bruce is carrying the comedic timing of this show.

Agreed! Every facial expression, every thing he wears, everything he says... just.. whew!

Crying, drunk Pat has made too many appearances during this series. The novel was the same way. he's going through some things. 😆

I'm thinking episode 10. If it continues to line up with the book. There is one one angst filled episode and then the "I like you" from Jeng on the cliff hanger and then the beginning of episode 10 they get together. Then 2 more episodes to encounter mama and papa jeng and the end.

I also think he's starting to see everything Jeng has done for him and said to him through a different lens. Instead of just a great boss who cares, someone who cares for him and likes him. All his feelings of confusion about thier friendship/relationship are starting to clear up, all while he's sloppy drunk. I'm sure that's overwhelming as heck.

Chot is a MOOD. "Jeng you walked in here like a cat!" Jeng always sneaking up and eavesdropping on Pat's conversations.

Mr. Jeng came in clutch with the milk tea to cheer Pat up. Jeng is the green flag that just don't miss.

Nobody talking about Jaab/Jane's fight in the studio! Jane pulled the "I'm resigning" card and called Jaab a coward. Jaab was in his FEELINGS after that.

Yeah I kinda had to give that convo to Put because he went for the jugular when he told Jeng, "People in your status. can't really come out." I was like daaaaang Put you ain't have to put him on the ropes like that!

Put is SO manipulative! Then the blackout on IG. He's so extra and dramatic. I'm so glad pat decided to stay out with Jeng and have fun. Otherwise he would have been sucked into Put's melodrama.
