Can we talk about how respectful Mr. Jeng is for a BL ML character? Just a walking green flag. The way he flirts so so subtle but he's sending crystal clear signals to Pat. He's giving those grown man vibes and I live for it.
That was the BEST confession I've seen in a while. I was almost in tears. I also appreciate Yutaka telling Yuki that, "I found my place." and then he told Minoru during his confession, "This is my place." Something about that phrasing just warmed my heart. The dad is the real MVP this episode. Him grabbing Minoru by the collar and forcing him out the door was hilarious and necessary.
ep 1-10 is ok but ep 11-18 is frustrating, but the lead stop me from dropping this show :')
I forgot about the marriage registration fiasco! I was on the edge of my seat. I thought the moms were going to march them in there personally to register. See! I have this love vs frustrated relationship with this drama. 😆

I think you summarized my feelings perfectly! I do enjoy the fact that they are "pretending" but thier reactions are so natural. I also enjoy the way they defend each other and communicate through all of the mayhem. I did enjoy YD going off on the entire family in the last episode though.

I agree. I think episode 1-10 got me hooked and I'm hanging on through 11-18 by a very tenuous thread. The leads are definitely keeping me engaged. The grandmother enrages me.
Every week, I watch the latest episodes and ask myself, in utter frustration, "why am I still watching this show?". Every week I say, "this week I'm going to drop this f'in show!", but I CAN'T. I love to hate the characters and I keep coming back. This is so unlike me.
This series has a lot of potential, but this episode wasted a lot of time with dumb situations. The shrimp nugget…
I initially felt the same about the shrimp nugget, but I think we needed to see how smitten Jeng is with Pat. I realized while rewatching, Jeng doesn't really let on that he likes Phat. He's respectful and attentive but maintains enough distance to where I could see Pat feeling like he's getting mixed signals. Also, it's complicated being the boss AND the successor. I feel like this is the first drama I've watched in a while that actually captures this conflict pretty well.
Here is my take on Put and Phat getting back together: We finally have an idea of what had happened and Put made…
Quote: Too Phat, navigating the relationship with Put is probably an easier and more familiar route rather than being with someone new.
I agree with you on this. At first I was thinking, "Don't go backwards", but they have history and I totally understand that sometimes it's hard to move on without proper closure.
Quote: But here is the catch it's just too little too late! 2 years is a lot of time and people change. They are now in a new stage of their life: meeting new people, newer wants and needs and likings and attractions. Once that nostalgia will wear off, especially for Phat, they will realize that nostalgia and hanging onto the past emotions and ideas of what they once had been together can only help them very little to navigate their newly rekindled relationship in the present time.
Spot on! I appreciate how we are also slowly watching Phat mature and change as the episodes progress. For example, when he took Mr. Jeng's advice on how to handle the MLM guy by addressing him directly and not avoiding him. I think we will see more instances of Phat having a great attraction and connection with Mr. Jeng than he had with Put.
But what was the reason for changing his mind? - Therapy works.
I agree with you. I'm sure there was a LOT left in editing. The scene they posted on YT where Jaewon has a breakdown would have added some needed context to his zombie-like behavior.
But what was the reason for changing his mind? - Therapy works.
I feel like there were subtle clues to his attitude changing gradually behind the scenes. The secret photography account that Joon Pyu found is one indication that Jaewon was doing some work on himself out of the eye of us the viewers and everyone in his world. How hard he was working to get his life on track and the conversation he had with Ajumma in the restaurant.
I do wish they'd given more space for a resolution to Jaewon's depression. It's not a light switch. Not even a…
I agree with you. While I enjoyed the ending it's definitely a pendulum swing. But I appreciate the final scene where they decide to just give it a try. Because there are a lot of unknowns (Jaewon's family situation being a big one).
The way they use the cinematography to show Jae Won's feelings is just *chefs kiss* The dark lighting in 7 and…
| the dreamy haze in 6 to show his elation but also maybe some dissociation (he's escaping with Ji Hyun from the mental breakdown he's on the edge of). I love how much detail they put into it.
Yes! Even down to the clothing choices for Jae Won. He's always in black but in episode 6 he's wearing lighter colors.

I laughed SO hard at this! The soundtrack made it even better "I'm losing my miiiind".
