As a very mean lesbian with a harsh mouth and no inherent patience, I completely understand that some people are going to be assholes about things, and I am absolutely here for sinking to anyone's level to tell them about themselves.

I don't have to or choose to 'respect' anyone's preferences about what storylines are put into a tv series; there are a million and one protected characteristics of people that deserve human rights, but 'respect' for the trashy fetishistic voyeurism of straight women isn't one of them, so sorry.

Unfortunately the BL fandom has been full of homophobes for years; usually it's turning on actors who come out as gay, but the latest trend is sapphic-phobia, because heaven forbid females of any orientation be portrayed sympathetically in their fetishistic escape stories.

I'm sorry that a respectful lesbian coming-of-age arc is less meaningful to you than Aim being thrown away as a money-hungry slut in terms of story arc. /sarcasm

I'm sorry but, WHAT? How is it a shame to put GL in a gay series? It's 2024 - women are people too, have you not heard? And some of those women, GASP - they're gay too. Aim being a lesbian in a comp-het relationship due to a homophobic mother makes much more sense than her just being a wh*re like in the original series. I quite like not having to hate characters, personally.

I'm finally reading the novel & I just can't believe they cast Gulf as Type. Don't get me wrong, he was great in the role, but in the novel, the character was described as being dark-skinned, tanned, chocolate-hued (lets not get into how problematic food descriptions of skin are), anyway, I've been to Thailand many times and I swear from these dramas you'd really think everyone in Thailand is light-bright-and-halfway-white, but it's not the case at all, so it really leaves a bad taste in the mouth that they can't bring themselves to put non-mixed-race actors in roles where they're specifically described as non-mixed-race. Tsk.

So, for my entire life, I've thought G-Dragon (Kwon Ji-Yong) was the most beautiful man on Earth, and when he was Boun's age he was, nothing is taking that away from him, but Boun is the CURRENT most beautiful man on Earth, imo.

I will always feel guilty that I didn't go feral online defending you from accusations, but I hope you understand that a lot of us who suspected you were innocent couldn't in good conscience say so out loud without proof; too many victims aren't believed because their abuser is well-loved. I don't like cliffhangers. But since I know it's a two-parter in the novel version, I'm not surprised. There better be NC scenes in S2 to make up for the lack of spiciness in S1.

All that aside, this was beautifully done and I have no regrets about watching all 12 episodes, I really hope S2 gets made and that they don't re-cast anyone, Class A's dynamics were perfect.

Andy Chen shouldn't have been a side character, he should have been cast as Jiang Tian. He gives Gu Hai vibes (iykyk) and I love him.

When I tell you he straight up stole the show in 4Minutes? He is so beautiful, the emotion in his eyes is top-notch, he even walks beautifully. I can't wait to see him in another main role, I'd like him to not get shot though, please.

Edit: Watching him as Sunny in Payback & as much as I love Aiz and am so glad to see him in an important role, I definitely want to see his character get shot again. 😭

I managed to keep dry eyes through all eight episodes, but as soon as that first line from "Why Don't You Stay" by Jeff Satur started to play at the very end, I absolutely LOST IT crying.
