this is boring. Bison and Fadell. They are pro killers. But I always forget that. They don't give me that feeling.…
What do you think pro killers look like, exactly? Assassins go to school/work and have friends/families too. It's a job, and unlike many soldiers who are fighting in defense of something & thus wind up with PTSD because killing isn't something they want to do, contract killers clock into work (metaphorically) willing to kill. They aren't torn up about it & moping around in their down time over it, especially when they have the luxury, like these two, of working for someone who only sends them after bad people.
The way Kant and Bison stare at each other like they're f***ing no matter the time, place, or conversation is so inappropriate, I love it. First has the prettiest smile, and Khaotung is so baby I had no idea whether or not he'd be able to pull off being a hitman, but I'm feeling it.
FadelStyle is a harder one for me. I love how dark/serious Joong plays Fadel, but Style is nerve-gratingly annoying & I keep having to remind myself that it's not Dunk's fault, he's just doing his job. Seriously, I'll find myself thinking 'Ugh, I hate this character, he's not a good match for Fadel' and then I remember 'Oh right, they actually look really good together'.
That last scene of episode two, wow. Fadel looking so fed-up with life, the universe, and HIMSELF with his hand down his pants anyway? I cackled.
Here I am, clicking through all the new trailers, mildly interested but not really invested in anything, and then…
Considering this is from the screenwriter/director of Not Me, I have very high hopes that we'll get another impactful story, esp since 2/3 of the main actors are now over 30 y/o.
Seeing those comments, I understand why people are saying: Good times create weak men. Some of you are honestly…
I was with you til this part: "He is not a woman who may fear of getting raped." Women aren't the only people who fear getting raped. You make perfectly good points, otherwise.
I'm sorry but, WHAT? How is it a shame to put GL in a gay series? It's 2024 - women are people too, have you not…
Didn't 'go anywhere'? Where was it supposed to go? Aim's story isn't about being in a lesbian relationship, it's about growing up and realizing that she CAN be in a lesbian relationship, despite social and family pressure. You do realize there are lesbians in the world, right now, who have never been with another woman, due to fear and pressure? I'm unpleasant & have a terrible attitude but you're ignorant, and that's worse.
It’s the sad reality of having a small/side GL character in a BL drama. They could care less about the GL, which…
As a very mean lesbian with a harsh mouth and no inherent patience, I completely understand that some people are going to be assholes about things, and I am absolutely here for sinking to anyone's level to tell them about themselves.
Well, in an audience that's 99% straight women and gay men, the interest is bound to be in seing m/m romance.…
I don't have to or choose to 'respect' anyone's preferences about what storylines are put into a tv series; there are a million and one protected characteristics of people that deserve human rights, but 'respect' for the trashy fetishistic voyeurism of straight women isn't one of them, so sorry.
🧍🏾♀️are you homophobic?! imagine watching Bl and being a homophobe at the same time?! it doesn't…
Unfortunately the BL fandom has been full of homophobes for years; usually it's turning on actors who come out as gay, but the latest trend is sapphic-phobia, because heaven forbid females of any orientation be portrayed sympathetically in their fetishistic escape stories.
I'm sorry but, WHAT? How is it a shame to put GL in a gay series? It's 2024 - women are people too, have you not…
I'm sorry that a respectful lesbian coming-of-age arc is less meaningful to you than Aim being thrown away as a money-hungry slut in terms of story arc. /sarcasm
All the GL hate/disdain in these comments is off-putting. No shade, but if your appreciation of homosexual fiction doesn't include homosexual women, you might want to have a serious conversation with yourself about your misogyny, whether internalized or not.
