I liked it, but would like it even more if someone cut off all those retrospections. All we needed were the talks with the daughter explaining the back story. The flashbacks were boring.
The first part was pretty good and novel, the second part... seriously, I'm convinced someone killed the original writer and patched the story up with some most common cliches.
what was the ending that you were expectiong? that the FL should also choose her career?
I think she might go in the future. She's still very young. And then I'd think ML might go with her. But at this point I think she wanted to stay not only because of her husband but also for the grandpa.
Even overlooking the usual jdrama cliches like the immature ML and retarded FL, this drama was even worse with a man obsessing about a dead woman who wasn't even his girlfriend. To the point that even the final confession to the FL is more about the dead woman that the woman in front of him he's supposed to love.
It was rather disappointing. I liked the original pairing between Akari and Rio but the movie made sense only up to their kiss. I saw no chemistry between the other couples, esp. Yuna and Rio, and it didn't even make sense for me that a guy who fell for a girl like Akari would shift his feelings to a girl like Yuna. All in all the move left a bad aftertaste so only 3/10.
BTW I didn't understand the dialogue at the end. Who was saying what? What did it mean that they didn't want to hurt them? Who was them?
