you could think that, but my perspective is different. i think it's not about using rather mutual benefit. she…
i feel initially he genuinely admired her, her qualities and determination, but couldn't open up emotionally. he thinks that money can solve errthing. he saw marriage through the lens of business, where both party gets what they want. but now he's realizing for some things he has to work hard, be genuine and honest. her leaving him without a single penny was an eye opener for him. now he's realizing that whatever she did wasn't for the money or connections, but she really loved him.
Please if anybody has time please tell me more about the background details of the male lead and the son. Also…
when ml was around 20, he was in a rlp and got her gf accidentally pregnant. some time after the delivery, she accidentally died (a bit suspicious as her sister, a psycho, also liked ml since starting and still pestering him). after that, he brought the child to his home. his parents didn't want that child to be a weakness for him; for the business, they labelled him as ml younger brother. the kid doesn't know any of this ml. fl got to know way after the marriage, feng lei (ml's ex gf psycho sister) told her. ml intended to hid it from fl. about lies- when they confronted, he tells her the reason- he thought that she has ulterior motives towards him but he admired her qualities, ambition. also, he said they wouldn't accept his child if he married someone from equal status. there's a dialogue of him saying, "from the moment i know you lied, i would never love you". hope this helps with your curiosity.
I guess they cut a lot of the second leads scenes. Cause a lot of things dont make sense. Or am just lost in translation.
same. couldn't understand how come they are in their breakup era when sfl hasn't even confessed yet, let alone started dating. the breakup cooling-off period came out of nowhere or maybe the translation is a bit off.
She thought that she used him so she feels guilty and wanted to let him know the truth, but turn out he is the…
you could think that, but my perspective is different. i think it's not about using rather mutual benefit. she loved him and wanted to be with him that's why lied about her background. he thought that she didn't loved him and wanted his connection and background to grow her career and enter into elite society, that's why she lied about her background. so for him, it was more of mutual benefit relation. as a businessman he want to have full control and this is also reflected in his personal life. he thought that he will give her want she wants i.e. connection and money and can control her, while in reality she wanted love. so from the starting it was different expectations.
I guess my only way of rationalizing his claim to have always loved her and thrown back her reconciliation attempt…
i love your analysis. and to add i think his relationship has been more of give and take. like we see with his dad- I’ll give you this and you give me the position in the board. tho it’s changing now.
i just binged 14 eps thinking next week also we will get 2 eps/day but what’s with the schedule? just 1 ep?!?! i really dislike when drama gains popularity they fuck up the schedule.
based on the first 2 eps, i think their meeting was a coincidence from fl perspective, not sure about ml yet. also, i think she didn't mean to lie about her background. but ml's mother made her feel small, and she couldn't help but lie, as she did as a child when fellow children were teasing about not having parents. she eventually lied about parents being aboard. this is what i think based on the first 2 eps and some spoilers from reels. it feels like a coincidence rn, not sure what will happen in the future eps. but i'm really loving it and can't wait for the divorce era eps.
yessss its confirmed!! but idk which type of special episode would it be like some people says its just a complimentary…
i also saw a post where ML is with his sword in the middle of road and in convenience store. i hope it's about how he came to future and found her. i can't wait for the special ep now.😭😭😭
I'm getting confused. So when he asks her to marry him his plan is to bring in a new heir and use her as bait…
I think if within those three months, anything happens to her, then all his inheritance would go to the kids. And that’s why his step kids would try to do anything they can to kill her within these three months. So to make sure she’s safe and vote them out and make them out from the group, it’s important for her to be safe. so instead of fighting one on one, she will be hiding in the town for the time being, and if they somehow find her, it will be like a trap for them. Even if they won’t be able to find her, then she can vote them out in the meeting.
Why would you say it wasn't about her cooking? Look at the title, at how many episodes were about cooking.. Look…
i personally loved the last 2 eps, so my view could be biased as well. but i totally get it. a lot came in with the expectation of it be a rom-com, but considering the background at which it was set up i somehow expected that there will be fighting scenes. tho looking at ep2-10, ep 11-12 had a very different tone but i personally loved it because of the suspense it created as to what will happen next.
He said in the end of ep. 10 he believed her. Then, they talked about it more in ep. 11.
Right, I meant bad intentions. Also, in the initial ep 2 or 3, FL tells the king that she came from the future and he asked her about himself. She was hesitant to reply, so instead of giving a direct answer, she told him something like- be aware of the people in your surrounding.
