is this drama romantic? how is the romance's pacing?
yes, quite romantic. the pacing is good. after ep 10 (prolly 12 or 13) they officially became couple and before that we can clearly see they liked and cared for eo.
SJ sacrificing himself for her and making sure everything is set for her made me so emotional šš finally they met again in mortal realm. canāt wait for the next ep to see how LTY will make him fall in love with her.
I am skipping Ep. 26-30 entirely to watch a bit of the SJ mortal-emperor bit next in which TY will still be demon-queen,…
half an hour!? i am hoping we get atleast 5-7 mins of itšš in LGIEF we didnāt even got to see them together, only ml voice in the last few minsšš
Same for me. But when I pondered a little more, I came to realise that why he did that. Firstly, before this,…
Yes, but both the company and environment also play a role. Earlier, she was in a very secure and safe environment, and now sheās in a Demon world where she will get killed if she doesnāt fight. Also, her āfatherā turned her into killing. Though initially SJ also wanted her to kill, he realised that she was literally traumatised by it, and he acknowledged his mistake. But on the contrary, SQL for those 18 years planted in her head that she had to kill. In the Demon world, when she first killed someone, she was traumatised by it, and no one by her side could comfort her or understand her. So that also plays a role in why she ended up killing.
I totally agree. In shows where the ML is portrayed as a "bad guy," the FL often tries to change him into a good person without truly empathizing with his struggles, which can be frustrating. However, this one is different. I'm glad that LTY doesnāt force him to change; her modern background allows her to act differently. But I wonder: if she were from the same world, would she feel the same way?
The other celestial masters and their juniors believe SJ is a bad person and a killer, despite not witnessing any wrongdoing. They think heās in seclusion for 500 years, but heās actually held captive. This distortion of facts is troubling, especially since those who know the truth perpetuate this one-sided narrative.
This reminds me of TTEOM (though I may be rusty since itās been a while since I watched it). The FL knew what would happen in the future; she knew her people's suffering and her own (but not his), motivating her to change him, but her approach was frustrating. It would have been more effective if she had empathized with him; he didnāt choose his fate; he had to endure it. He didn't chose to be evil but was forced.
First drama in a while, where I donāt want to binge watch and finish it. I am watching every day two episodes and enjoying them to the fullest because I donāt want to say goodbye to it. But itās ending on Mondayšš
Just venting on the ending in the immortal realm: So he made her kill a person despite her screaming no (which…
Same for me. But when I pondered a little more, I came to realise that why he did that. Firstly, before this, she was tortured. Secondly, for SJ itās mostly about killing because thatās how he have survived. Only after she came into his life he got to know that killing is not the only option. Now, if we combine both of these, what I think his perspective was he wanted her to be able to protect herself in case heās not there. He wanted to tell her that if someone wants to kill you or insult you, you can strike back. Basically, even if she may not want to kill someone in the future, she may at least know how to do it if she ever comes across any such situation.
wait guys, do any of y'all know when she'll get her memory back. Or at least when she's back to her normal self…
Iām a little behind so I donāt know exact episode. But saw some spoiler ā after the memory loss, we get their first kiss in episode 25, so probably 24 or 25.
