On Legend of the Female General Aug 21, 2025
I know many people are disappointed with the drama because there is a mismatch between the title and what's shown. I had the same expectation of seeing wars and our female general, but instead, I got a love story. However, I don't consider it a disappointment; in fact, I enjoyed it more than I expected.

The main theme of this drama is about reclaiming what has been lost, and amid that journey, the romance develops. Additionally, the Chinese title is different from the English one, as it roughly translates to "A Song of Brocade Moonlight."

There are several plot holes, and some elements are left unexplained, such as how He Yan and his master met, and certain fight scenes were cut. Despite this, it didn't spoil the experience for me. I enjoyed it from start to finish, and it was definitely worth watching. Plus, the chemistry between the leads was amazing.

I don’t understand why He Rufei hates He Yan so much and feels entitled to the merits He Yan has earned? Or…
i think, yes. firstly she’s a girl and then, she has acquired merits while he was sitting in the temple.

Title Sword Rose
It started off strong and had a very realistic portrayal of trafficking and how the people involved in it, the victims go through. However, the last few episodes were scattered all over the place and I didn’t like how they concluded it. The FL’s friend case was the major focus of this drama, but they ended it without a reunion. In every trafficking case victim suffering is shown, the back story is told, and their reunion with their family. But why not for Ranran? I was eagerly waiting to see her back story. How did she end up there? What has she been through and her reunion with her mother and FL? It was such a letdown.
