I don't know what i was expecting starting this bl but now i know it was nothing .Am i gonna watch this just to…
I myself don't really have problem with it but if you do then you should blame the directing I think. In the bts when they rehearsed the introduction scene I think Santa did great and looked rather natural but New told him to "be more cheerful". That's probably not the only scene he wanted Santa to exaggerate his acting. But then again part of the blame is also in the character, I guess, because his character (Gun) is also like that. You probably feel more connected with Wine and Yotha because you prefer natural acting and they're both calm characters, the opposite of Gun.
It'a not about how logical it is, it's just about how we feel about it. And there's nothing wrong with feeling differently about one thing as long as we don't force it on others or think that we're the only right one, and also voice our opinion respectfully, since everyone has a preference.
I hope Santa tones it down, 'cause he's acting like he's 5.
But View barely showed up in Hemp Rope (Between Us novel) and his character was just a naughty kid with barely any details and he made Santa acted the same as he did Gun. Can wasn't written by her too, so was Team. So probably the problem is Thai BL authors who kept on creating stereotypical characters? 😂😂

Do you know who directed every single series Earth has ever starred in? Yeah, New. And since Santa has only ever act with him he probably took him as a reference for what New wanted. Like, even Satang became like that too in We Are when he was completely different in MSP.
I hope Santa tones it down, 'cause he's acting like he's 5.
Unfortunately it's just really New's style, just look at Satang in We Are and Plan in LBC. Even Prem was often like that in UWMA and BU. New is just too stuck in his determined stereotypes, not only for characters but also scenes, like how a kiss scene and other intimate acts have to be done for example. He just has no variety in his way of directing since LBC.
OP probably wanted to see their first kiss in their own story so they could feel the build up and appreciate the kiss even more, because I'm the same too 😂😂 I mean the kiss scene is great but it'd be even more precious if it didn't happen just like that out of nowhere.
Force slipped out that JuMark's part will be the last couple to appear which is 4 months later, so it's probably…
Well, because the only way to solve it is being positive about it. When you already feel negative about something, you won't be able to enjoy it no matter what. The only solution if you want to watch it is choosing the way you want to watch it, there's no way around it.
So you asked why they choose to do this in the first place. My answer is it's not the first time they're doing this, and the result isn't bad, so that's probably why. And also New seems to like adapting multiple novels into series, so he might be the one who proposed it to GMM. Those two reasons are already mentioned in my comment before this, but maybe I didn't elaborate enough, my mistake. Another reason I just think of is having them put into one series has less risk than separating them into different series. There bound to be problem when creating the continuation. Look at series that are made/intended to be multiple season series, like My Engineer, Love Sick, LBC, and 2moons, none of them end well. New managed to make Between Us, but it was delayed for years. So yeah, this approach is better.
Also, to answer your 4th problem, you don't need to worry since most of the actors have another series lined up after this. Force and Perth have Scarlet Heart, Santa has that vampire one, so does Fluke Gawin, Emi has a GL she will be leading, and the others probably has one too but I forgot. So no, they won't get stuck with this series the whole time it's airing.

It's not the first time in Thai BL though. This is kinda the longer version of En of Love, which made YinWar rise in fame, and Star & Sky, which was JoongDunk's first series together. Both are New's, so I guess he likes to make series like this. And for me it's not really negative, as long as it's well made (now this is my concern since I have no trust in New lol). I actually prefer this approach to squeezing multiple novels into the same timeline like Oxygen and My Engineer, at least each couple get a fair amount of screentime and focus. Just treat it as three separate series in the same universe, like UWMA and Between Us but better because it's shorter and we don't have to wait long for the spin-off 😂
Just realized why is everyone in this series has a high school best friend/s that followed them into college lol. Like, not even lovebirds are that loyal, or is that normal in Thailand?
So, is this like Love in the air but with 3 stories in one series? I can't understand why would they do that,…
Force slipped out that JuMark's part will be the last couple to appear which is 4 months later, so it's probably still like what people expects in the beginning (3 parts series with a main couple each). Which means 8 ep for each couple, but FB will probably show up a lot in PS and JM's parts, and PS in JM's part. Also I have a hunch from the trailer that they'll turn FB's story into a flashback so the two other couples can still show up in their parts, and probably PS' part too. So you can just watch the part of the couple you like if you just want the main story and don't mind missing little scenes of the couple you like in other parts.
you are absolutely right!! I too am hoping that they don’t turn this into another We Are, especially when it…
Yeah I've been really worried because of the director, now added with him trying to make 3 stories that happen in different timelines to exist together. I hope he won't turn this into a total fluffy romcom and erase the dark undertone the novels have, just like he did We Are.
I'm actually happy they shortened the run, I don't think I can stand another We Are for 30 ep since it seems like New is going to take a similar direction. Hopefully that means the series will have better pacing and we can soon get another series for each couple in 2025 😬
Uuuuhm, are you aware that they haven't finished the shooting? They barelly filmed 1/3 of the entire series, that's…
I feel you, New is the most worrying aspect from this series for me. I wish The Trainee director is the one directing this, that guy at least has better directing skill and makes great editing choices, not to mention his good sense of humor. His editing choices are one of the best I've seen in Thai romcom BL, for me.
I agree. I wasn’t really impressed by the trailer but I think ForceBook story is the one they are done filming…
Probably many of the scenes they've shot are ones that's either not really showing the storyline or showing too much of the story to be put in the trailer. The hospital scene seems to be part of the resolution part of the story so I understand why they didn't include it in the trailer. I doubt they've shot any of the climax part of the story yet, seeing the photos released.
PerthSanta fans has been crying for their kiss scene so of course they won't give it so easily, especially since…
Well, they've been trying to sell this as one whole series instead of three parts one to avoid viewers only watching the part of the couple they want since two of the couples already have their own loyal fanbase, so I understand their decision to release only one trailer. If not for that, they would've done it the way they did Star & Sky series which has two new couples, marketing it as two parts series.
Wtf was that perthsanta barely are in this trailer but you can tell few seconds and they are good .. I am not…
PerthSanta fans has been crying for their kiss scene so of course they won't give it so easily, especially since it's their first on-screen kiss 🤭🤭 and maybe the reason why you can't get their storyline from the trailer because they actually haven't shoot enough to show that in the trailer. I mean, they've only shot less than half of the supposed Q so far after all.
