I really recommend it, it's one of my favs! Even if you've watched the drama, there's still a lot of surprises since the story is really different.

As far as I remember there are barely any SA in the manhwa, only from Juha to Seheon. Taeyi did threaten him, but he only grabbed his collar and his wrist, that's all. And the story also went differently. In the manhwa, Seheon was an only child, so his brother wasn't the reason of Taejoon's suicide since there was no brother to begin with. And yeah for me the reasoning for their breakup in the manhwa is clear enough. You may want to read it yourself so I tried not to spoil it, but I can give spoiler if you want.

I've always disliked an end to a series that makes me feel as if they're cleaning up a room after using it, like they're wrapping everything up at once just because it's the end. This series' final ep felt like that to me, but it made me laugh over and over again throughout so I enjoyed it a lot, I like it. The series managed to stay true to its genre, I love how the comedy always exist even at the most melodramatic moments, yet managed not to override the mood. Like, I laughed yet I could still feel my heart clenching for the characters' pain and struggle. I've never find any Thai series succeeded in doing this before. Also, love how the humor felt so natural and wasn't cringeworthy at all. Thai romcom BLs usually exaggerated too much that I found it either lame or too cringeworthy, so I avoid watching them most of the time. I know myself and the fact that a series managed to keep me laughing every episode is really a rare feat. That's why I really want to applaud everyone involved in the production. Of course it also has flaws, but despite it I still like this the best out of all the series GMMTV released so far in 2024. Thank you for creating such a unique and enjoyable series 💕

Yeah, YothaGun only entered college a year after Arm, then Y the year after. And it's true that ArkArm is already together by that time. I was just wondering since they said they'd appear in almost all eps when they're barely there in other novels aside from theirs.

Well, vibe and pacing aren't all directing concerns. The director had flaws in his directing, but at least he knew the right tone to choose for his series and that viewers needed time to get immersed, not just merely being told a story.

Well, they're indeed close with each other in the novel. Ark and Arm are Yotha and Y's senior code, Faifa is both Yotha's brother and Gun's best friend. That's where the title came from, because their code line consists of good-looking people. If what you said was right, then either Arm or Yotha wouldn't be part of the code line. It'd mess up a lot of the novel storyline. Well, GMMTV is notorious for creating a whole new story that's completely different from the novels they adapted, so 🤷‍♀️ I'm just scared because it's New lol.

Lol, I said the vibe, the colors, the tone, the nuance. Yeah NLMG has terrible plot, I've written a couple of criticism myself, but the director got the vibe right. At least I can feel the tension from intense scenes in that series. And I didn't even mention anything about the actor. Imo Perth and Nat hard carried the acting in NLMG, but they were also helped by the pacing and the vibe the series carried, two things the director did right. While Ohm was very disadvantaged by those two aspect here. This romantic vibe Kidnap is carrying didn't suit the dark storyline at all, and the pacing is too fast at least for me to connect with the protagonists' feelings and empathize with them. In short, I'm saying that it'd be better if Kidnap use a darker tone similar to NLMG and Not Me, it suits the story better. And I'd appreciate a slower pacing to let the characters stories and feelings brew inside the viewers heart, so they could empathize better. And Not Me is near perfect, no other words needed.

I was hoping for Not Me and NLMG kind of vibe but seems like it's gonna be another Dangerous Romance instead 😂😂

Wait but it doesn't make sense to have YothaGun appearing at the time ArkArm's romance blooms, unless they made Arm enter college at the same year as Faifa, Yotha, and Gun 🤔

They've filmed 80% of FB's part just in less than 17 Qs? Even with them getting involved in almost all 30 eps? 😱

The acting is fine, but idk it failed to get me hooked. All the scenes felt like it was squeezed together just to make the story understandable. The series didn't give me enough time to connect with the protagonists' feelings because everything went by so fast. And it felt like the director was too fixed on making this a romance that they always toned down what should've been a scene full of tension. Well, it's still ep 1 and it's not that bad, I think I'll give it a chance and continue watching.

I'm not really disappointed with JaneRyan's screentime, but as the main character, Ryan should've at least more involved in his friends problems, not just through after work chat. Like, why is he the only one not invited to the restaurant by Tae? Where was he when all those mess happened when he was supposedly in the same office? They could've at least made him accompanying someone or giving advice, or they could've even used him helping his friends for his own character development.

And an office where the employees can just lie around in the middle of the lobby is heaven. Not to mention the slide, because stairs are my enemies.
