Wish you can get well soon. I've yet to have any issues (and I hope I won't) but my father is a smoker too so I feel for you. I always kick my father out of the room when he smoke and scold him if he smoke near me. I might be rude but I'm not gonna risk my life for something I don't even take part in if he's not gonna stop anyway. No matter what I said, he always stubbornly justified smoking regardless how ridiculous it is, and I'm not wasting my time fighting a losing fight. Knowing thirdhand smoke is a thing through this series makes me kinda worry though. My father rarely smoke at home knowing how much I hate it, but I guess I have to be stricter.

Either going to the police or making public statement, like on social media. When talking about possibility, will they suddenly post in their twitter "a drunk r*ped me when I was drunk"? First, the novel doesn't even exist yet by the time Between Us was announced, so the author needed to create the story first. Second, yeah it's the pandemic. They also have to match everyone's schedule, since OhmFluke is hella busy with 3-4 projects together, not to mention their solo ones.

I think there are many things that need to be considered in that case, like how drunk they are, is there any violence involved, or whether there's any hidden motives behind it.

Watching My Only 12% I thought the production team had improved so much, but in Between Us I still find some flaws I found in UWMA. Well, I guess it's the result of them trying to match UWMA's vibe. It's not too disturbing and there's still some improvement from UWMA so it's fine. At least I no longer have to put on full brightness in dark lighting scenes lol.

I love it so far, especially when Win made sure Team is sober before doing the deed. It should've been the norm, but unfortunately it's as rare as penguin in my tropical country, so I truly appreciate it. I'm so happy to see Yacht having way more screentimes, as usual he delivered perfect friendly banter, he's so natural at it. Sometimes I wish he were Team only to relive the banter he had with Sammy in LBC lol. I actually wondered why they put so much of DeanPharm there at first, but I ended up understanding the necessity. Those who watched UWMA won't need it, but those who didn't will in order to understand the story. It's good that they make it unnecessary to watch UWMA in order to follow the plot, since sometimes I too watched a sequel first before its prequel. Well, I'm satisfied with this ep, an I have hope it'll get better. I hope it will.

It's only 12 ep though according to iqiyi, so I don't think it'll drag on that much.

Ikr, like, I understand why Thua exposed Akk's heinous act, but there's absolutely no need for him to expose his relationship with a guy. He also did the same to Ayan, who helped him talk to his mother. He said he wanted to support freedom, but he threatened the voice of freedom itself. If he really consider Akk a friend, he should've convince Akk to confess like Ayan did instead of doing the same crime Akk did. After all, he also knew it wasn't completely his fault. Despite him supposedly being smart and thoughtful of others, all his actions revealed in the end showed otherwise.

Well, because they didn't know him at all, and he needed them to take down Tawi. If there's no them, who will? That's why he put White there, to help them with their plan.

I think it's because Thua's revelation plot lacks impact, when it's such a huge twist. I feel like the motif isn't strong enough, and the way they moved on right away made it anticlimatic. A climax should've been a turning point that created dramatic influence to the main characters, that's how you make it impactful. Let's take Thua revealing Akk's misdeed as an example. They showed how broken he was after that, so we can feel that it's a huge thing. But with Thua's twist, there's no, let's say, after taste. That's why we felt something is missing there.

Todd indeed wanted them to take down Tawi, only because he desired his position. Black, who used to trust him, ended up knowing what kind of person he actually was and his intention. Of course he would do anything to stop a second Tawi from rising. That's why he attacked Black, so he wouldn't be an obstacle in his plan.

Tbh the series has been amazing all along, however it kinda fell flat since ep 11. They put the revelation of two biggest twists so close together and it's concluded so quickly after 10 episodes of build up that it felt anticlimatic. Ep 12 felt like it's just there to tie up loose ends, I don't even feel excited anymore. It's such a pity since the 10 early episodes always kept me on my toes, and the actors are perfect in their roles, their chemistry is nice. It's hard to find nice friendly banter that doesn't feel forced in Thai BL, and this series succeeded in it. I'll definitely rewatch this since I love the characters so much.

The curse was said to appear nearing the solar eclipse though. Or maybe the eclipse could also mean the darkness (rules) covering the light (freedom). It doesn't need to be literal.
