Top needed to spill about Ton because Mew is in a close friend of Ton's. Top, could have told him that he f-ed…
In FZ, ending up alone is neither a punishment nor a sad thing. Like OF, it's also centered around 4 best friends. One ended up alone to be independent, another broke up with his lover because he didn't feel happy in their relationship anymore. A side character finally broke free after being gaslighted by a man she was blindly in love with. And in contrast, FZ version of Boston ended up happy with someone, but only after he went through shits and learned to appreciate the person who loved him. I'm very satisfied with the ending, so my expectation is high for this series. I hope I won't be disappointed 🙈
About the saying you mentioned, I do agree, but I think it'll suit Mew more in his revenge arc lol. Sand is indeed kind, but he isn't really upright. He's quite flexible in terms of morality. While Mew, he's both kind and upright, so clear between right and wrong. I just hope he won't mess with SandRay though, because there are some indications that Mew will have something with Sand 😢 My guess is he'll lose himself for a while, but later his mothers will pull him back to the right path. Maybe 🤷

I really can't figure Boston out. I've thought of all kind of possibilities but nothing really fits his every action. Well, that's what makes this series so intriguing. Also, like you said, the deep-layered characters and the complexities between their relationship. Not only the three, but all of them. Sand for example, he showed that someone nice isn't always upright, and can turn bad when they keep getting hurt.

I do root for them but I still want them to get punished accordingly lol. Top will get his punishment from Mew. For Boston, I think the only punishment that befits him is ending up truly alone. He doesn't deserve people until he truly change for the better. And it'll be weird if he can change so fast when Top couldn't. The director has done it with Friend Zone before, so I think some people will also end up alone in this series.

Him feeling unloved isn't his only issue. I think that his addiction to sex might start from his trauma which made him unable to sleep alone. He might start sleeping around so he wouldn't have to sleep alone, and got addicted to it. It's just my guess though. And he also used drugs. He was slowly healing when he was with Mew, but now that Mew left him before he's completely healed, I wonder what would become of him.

I think it'll be hard though, it won't be easy for Mew to trust Top again. He doesn't even know the whole story, and there's no one who can provide him with one except for Top, but it'll only sound like a made up story if it comes from him. So far I can't see any way for Top to regain Mew's trust. About Boston though, I think he's the only character I can't fully figure out. He's rotten, but I wonder if that's all he is. Maybe it's just me but I feel like there's something behind his behavior related to his father, but I still can't figure out what it is. I hope his backstory will be explained well in future episodes.

What I mean is, Top didn't mean to do it with Boston because he was Boston, it was only because he was the only one persistent enough to break his will and gave him an excuse. It can be anyone, as long as they're persistent enough, but unfortunately it happened to be Boston. And to be fair, Top indeed told him to stop in the shower room despite not pushing him away. That made me think that part of him didn't want to betray Mew, but he was defeated by his desire. And before he went to see Boston and did the deed, he actually tried to put a brake on himself by trying to stay with Mew because he knew he might not be able to hold back anymore, but Mew was the one who told him to go home because he said it was his dad who texted him out of guilty conscience. So I'm just saying that he didn't actually want to betray Mew, even more so with his close friend, but his own self betrayed him and Boston just happen to be the one persistent enough to break his will. Never meant to justify his actions or make light to his mistakes though, I'm still so disappointed in him. I might be wrong, it's just a conclusion from the details I caught. It's just a habit of mine to analyze and trying to find reasons behind every character's actions in everything I read/watch 😂😂

It's not that he actually intended to do it with Boston. He had been holding back, but Boston just happen to be the one who persistently breaking down his will and no one else. But I agree the fact that he did it with Boston hurt Mew the most. Top knew that, that was why he didn't dare to tell Mew even more.

I think I understand why Top didn't say anything about that video, it's because that video isn't really the reason. I concluded that because he was also swayed by Boston before at the shower room. I think he really like Mew, however for someone who was so sexually active like him, it was hard to suddenly abstain from it. You can't change your habit only in such a short period. I could see that he did make effort, like stopping contact with his old flings, but his determination got weaker the longer his needs didn't get fulfilled. Then Boston came with a perfect excuse to justify fulfilling that needs, and he jumped at that. But he immediately regret it, admitting that it was wrong of him to do that when he finally pushed Boston away as he should've done two chances before. He knew he fckd up, but he was too scared of losing Mew so he kept it a secret. He knew Mew would definitely leave him if he found out.
He basically did the same things Boston did but I still love him somehow 🙈
He didn't like him yet at the beginning, he only treated him as an annoying person and wanted nothing to do with him. He only opened up to Ray when he was brought to his house for the first time and realized how lonely Ray was. I think his feeling started from sympathy, and when they did it the first time, the dam just broke. He tried to keep his wall up, but he failed. He had mentioned that he only liked someone he felt connected with, so I think the possibility of love before knowing each other is almost zero.

At this point we can only guess his reason without knowing whether it's right or wrong. Maybe he told Ray just to prove the audio's validity, who knows. But one thing though, a fake nice person won't stop a stranger from drunk driving, be willing to drive him home, make an effort to look for his address, and eventually bring him home despite him disliking the stranger at that moment without any gain. And seeing how he acts, I'm sure he has a clear line between what he's willing to be paid for, so it's clearly not because Ray is rich. He didn't even intend to drive him since the beginning, it was only because Ray insisted to drive by himself. I think he's actually kind, but his desire for revenge blinded him. There are many people like that, and I've heard stories of people destroying themselves that way.
I think for Ray it's because she knows he's a very lonely person, and hopes that if he has someone by his side…
Ray indeed needs therapy, but you know what psychiatrists always say? That family support is important for the treatment. A lover might not heal him, but they might be a big help in the process, especially when he has no family to support him. And for Boston, sleeping around isn't always safe, he might get into trouble one day. And he did get recorded without consent. For Mew, well like I say, I don't really understand that part. This is just me reasoning with her action though, it doesn't mean it's true.
He basically did the same things Boston did but I still love him somehow 🙈
I don't think he's pretending to be nice, he's just tired of being stepped on and decided to stop being nice. Just look at what he gets from being nice: he got his partner stolen by Top and treated like a spare tire by Ray.
I mean he did try to get away, but Boston guilt tripped him. Yes what nick did with the recording and stuff was…
I think he's indeed tired of sleeping around, yet it doesn't mean he want to be in a relationship with someone. He still has his needs though, so he needs someone submissive who will stay with him without being in a relationship. And that's Nick. That's why he keeps on manipulating him to stay while making it clear he doesn't want to be serious.
One thing I'm wondering about is whats going on with Chueam and her obsession that all her friends NEED to have…
I think for Ray it's because she knows he's a very lonely person, and hopes that if he has someone by his side he would be happy and stop being an alcohol and drug addict. And for Ton, she just hopes he'll stop sleeping around. Idk about Mew though, maybe because he never experienced love?
Wish you can get well soon. I've yet to have any issues (and I hope I won't) but my father is a smoker too so…
I'm so sorry for you. Maybe we have to sit our dads down and force them to read bad effects of smoking aloud like Eiw did to Cake lol. I'm not sure even that will work though.
I agree with everything except the comment about Perth. I just love Perth and am still waiting for them to release…
There's no way it's coming to my country unfortunately, unless they release it on online platform. Who knows, maybe when he has a new project he can take the throne again lol
Overall, I personally like this series. Of course there are flaws, but despite having low expectations, I found myself pleasantly surprised that it's engaging and satisfying enough. There's balance between light-hearted and heart-wrenching, although some problems felt too childish my hands curled but it's still alright. I like that there's no unnecessary prolonged conflict or going around in circle and no hateful character. I found their mistakes understandable. If there are things to highlight, it'll be the moms' friendship (which made my cry) and Santa. I'm so glad Cake is his first lead role for long series. This character truly makes his acting ability shine. He can be mischievous, caring, loving, or heartbreakingly sad, I can't believe he's a rookie since he did it perfectly without any awkwardness felt. He's good at adlibs too and I can't get enough of his gentle voice lol. I'm so excited to see his growth, I hope he can get another good role for his next project. He has good chemistry with Earth but I hope he can be paired with another actor too so he can grow more. For now, he's my favorite Thai actor (sorry Perth).
