To be honest I've written here multiple times that Boston is the only character I can't figure out, but after the latest episode I felt like I got a glimpse of his inner layers, although not much. I might be wrong, but here's my take based on my observation on Boston since the first ep until now.
First, it's that he always bluffs whenever he's cornered to cover up his fear and anxiousness.
Second, he's afraid of being alone. And like Top, it might be because of his parents, or his father in his case. He didn't have an ounce of care towards his friends, but he was obviously anxious that his friends would leave him, which was why he returned to the hotel to talk with them. But just like I mentioned, he bluffed and made them even more angrier. I think that was also why he kept Nick by his side although he didn't care for him at all.
Another reason he kept Nick is because third, he's greedy for love despite being too self-centered to love others, and can't stand seeing others being loved instead of him. He seduced Top despite having no feelings for him because he was jealous of Mew. Maybe he couldn't accept that Top fell so quickly with Mew when he didn't feel anything after doing it with Boston. That's also why he exposed Ray. He knew Sand loved Ray, and his jealousy drove him to destroy it. Actually it's an idea I've been doubting since he left Chueam alone, but this is the most possible reason from what I observed. Maybe it's because he has no interest in women, idk.
That sums my observation over Boston's personality. We still don't know why he became like that, but my guess is that his father played a big part. We won't know until his relationship with his father is explained.

My take is because Mew has totally lost his confidence in judging people when he was so sure about it before, thanks to Top. He probably thought that if he was wrong about Top, he might be wrong about Ray too, and that maybe they could work. Afterall it's true that Ray never hurt him, and as far as he knew Ray's love has been unwavering despite his rejections. In his vulnerable state, he just need someone who'll never betray him. He might be afraid that Ray might actually be the one for him, and if he let him go, he might lose the only person who's loyal to him. He probably wouldn't have done that if he knew the extent of Ray's relationship with Sand.

I think it's because Mew's starting to doubt his judgement about people. He used to be so sure, but that confidence is now broken by Top and Ton's betrayal. Seeing how he suddenly changed his stance just in one scene, he probably started thinking that he might've been wrong all along. He was wrong about Top, so maybe he was wrong about Ray too. Maybe they can actually work out. After all, it's true that Ray has never hurt him, and as far as he knows Ray's love for him never wavers. He probably thought at least Ray would never betray him, that's why he surrendered and decided to accept him. For now when he feels vulnerable, he just need someone he can truly trust to depend on, and there's only Ray by his side. Also, despite knowing, I don't think he truly understood how broken Ray is, or how severe his depression is. Someone who's driven by logic like him often finds it hard to understand and sympathize with emotionally driven people, and along with that, people with mental illness.

I actually feel bad for both Top and Nick from the start since I understand them, although I still won't condone their wrongs. I also never enjoyed Boston's toxicity, and Ray's hurt me. I do want them to end up with each of their significant other, but only on certain conditions. As it is now, I don't want it.
What Ray needs is rehab and therapy. He wouldn't know when a good thing hits him in the face

Mew's revenge might be disappointing for some people who hoped for something dramatic, but it actually did his character justice and so him. I'm happy and proud that he kept his dignity until the end and didn't become a hypocrite who did the things he despised just for revenge.

I just watched a kdrama where someone's life is completely destroyed by others' overly obsessive behavior, so what Nick did gave me chills. For me, I won't call it manipulating but testing instead. Manipulating is what Boston did, with the aim to make the object do what he wants, while what Mew did is mind games to see what Top would do. Tbh, I can't blame him for doing that with Top's history as a playboy and all the rumors that followed him. He wanted to see if he's really sincere with him. I think he's the kind of person who knows how to value himself and stand up for himself, that's why he's being careful, and I see nothing wrong with that. And even after all that, he still got deceived anyway. I also understand why he punched Ray. He hadn't even get past his shock knowing that both his friend and his boyfriend betrayed him a few moment before, and then Ray suddenly was going to air that dirty laundry to the world. Let's say, if it were you, would you want everyone to know you're betrayed by your friend and lover? If it were me, I wouldn't. It's humiliating, and everytime I see the faces of people who knows about it, I'll be reminded of the betrayal and how much of a fool I am to trust them that it'll be harder for me to forget. Even more so if they start gossiping, and they look at me pitifully... ugh, even imagining it makes my stomach churn.

It's okay! We just have different ways of enjoying a story. Some people like to make guesses and enjoy the thrill when they're proved right/wrong, and it's totally alright. I just don't like the feeling of what I've guessed keeping on haunting me and distracting me from losing myself in the story, so I put my brain on power saving mode lol.

I don't think what he did to Top is manipulating, I'd rather call it testing. He wanted to see how much Top can endure to be with him, not trying to manipulate him into doing what he wants, like Boston. And I can't blame him for testing Top, knowing his past as a playboy and the many bad rumors following him. And even after all those tests, he still got deceived in the end. And for others, I don't think he ever manipulate his friends though? I admit he indeed has the brain to be manipulative, but his uprightness kept him from using it in a bad way. Now that the uprightness is possibly broken, he might become the best manipulator in this series.
About his two mother, I think he's sincerely proud of them and loves them. He said himself that the reason he didn't really feel the need to have a lover is because he's filled with love from his mothers. I don't think he's lying, and I don't find any sign that he did. Maybe I think too simply, idk. I actually prefer not to use my brain too much while watching or reading a story, just enough to make me understand their actions and sympathize with them. I always try not to look too deep beyond what I'm shown and make assumption, because it might hinder me from seeing the characters' perspective objectively. As you can read from my comments, I made my deduction about Top only from what's shown in the series. You might be right, but as for now, I believe that Mew is never pretentious and always sincere with his friends and Top until the series shows me otherwise.
