I can only hope so, because often when a series is so intense, the ending can be underwhelming since all the thrill vanished right after the conflict is finished as they tie up all loose ends and conclude the story nicely. I just like it when the ending left me with a lingering feeling, no matter what it is, and I hope this series can do so.

A post got me thinking deeper about Ray's confession scene, and while my take is different from the poster, I agree on one thing: that the scene is even more impactful because Sand isn't there. Because of that, the scene served as his self-reflection, not another day of him selfishly holding onto Sand after hurting him. The old him would've gone straight to Sand's place, yet he went to rehab instead, maybe because he realized that as he was he would only keep on hurting Sand. The him now put Sand before his ego. He begged for his understanding because he didn't want to be hated, but he was also willing to accept if Sand doesn't want to put up with him anymore. And that no matter what Sand's choice is, he'll still try to change for him. I think he knew if he told Sand all of them he'd definitely take him back, because that's just how he is. But he didn't, maybe because he wanted to give him space to really think it through and make a choice. I might be wrong though, we still have to see how their relationship will play out. But still, it's such a perfect, beautiful, and heartbreaking scene for a character development. Kudos to Khaotung for portraying the most complicated character in this series perfectly, also to the director and scriptwriters for developing his character well. This series might not be at the very top of my list, well top 5 maybe, but SandRay's journey might leave the deepest impression in my heart for a long time. I still have to see the last two episodes though, but I don't think it'll change.

Right, like the way he wasn't crying straight away when Ray confronted him and try to hold his tears back until Ray left because Sand is someone who always put up a strong front and never show his tears to others. And when he said many things to push Ray away back when Ray was with Mew, his eyes showed that each of his own words hurt him. Then his expression as he made a plea for Ray to let him go, the only moment his act of indifference cracked and a small part of his vulnerability slipped out through it because at that moment the wound was too fresh that the pain was too great for him to keep up the act. The way he expressed it all flawlessly is S-class acting.

Yeah, like a masochist I kept on repeating all the scenes where he was hurting because while it hurt me, it was also so satisfying to watch since he was so good at expressing Sand's pain, hidden or not. He's just so good at acting.

How I wish next week Sand would just smirk at Boeing and said, "so you want me to be like you? No thanks," and left to find Ray. It'd feel so satisfying 🤭🤭 Like I can accept him trying to mess with Top and Mew's relationship (albeit still wrong), but no, dear, you can't do that to Sand. Of all people, you can't. Sand deserves the best and to be happy. Ray might not be the best, but he's his happiness. And Boeing, you're not both. You're just a fraction of his pain in the past.

Tbh the only real friendship here is SandNick. The four are nowhere near compatible, I really wonder how they became friends to begin with.

I think it's just like Nick said, maybe Ton actually just want to be loved. And he wasn't doing it because of Top, but because he was jealous that Mew was loved. He's just like a kid wanting to snatch or break the toy they desired from other kids since their parents won't buy it for them. That was also why he exposed Ray and jeopardized his relationship with Sand, he was jealous that Ray had someone who loved him. Unfortunately it seemed like he didn't even know that, and just did all that by impulse. This is just my take on his behavior though, I might be wrong, but it seems the most possible.

Jojo said the scene doesn't connect well with the swimming pool scene, so they cut it.

I don't think they're empty though 🤔 I don't even drink alcohol yet my cheapskate ass was crying at that scene. Like, just give them to someone else or maybe donate it to Yo's bar, it's such a waste 😭😭

For Sand's part, going to the bar all the time without talking to his dad is still considered not approaching him tough 🤔 it's evident that the time when he called out to his dad because of Ray was the first time they talked to each other.

Well, I can only hope he's just a tool to maybe make Ray feel more secure or really get his shit together so he won't lose Sand 🥺

But he told Ray that his mom told him about his dad, and then he found out his dad was working at that bar. So doesn't it mean he found the bar by himself? 🤔

I was kinda confused in that scene though. If he didn't know his father's name, how could he find him? Or he just didn't know his nickname? 🤔

No more drama for SandRay after this please... I just want Sand to be happy 😢
