In my opinion, Behind the Scenes (the novel) didn`t give them enough material for a series, just a rough idea…
It's realistic, but a fiction isn't really about realism. A fiction is all about the message. A fiction is always created with a direction in mind. How do you want your audience to interpret your story? How do you want your audience to perceive it and feel about it? Etc. A fiction without any message is an empty one. Even every episode of Tom & Jerry has a message. And for Last Twilight, like I said, the ending betrayed the whole message its trying to send in the beginning, like I have explained. It's not like I want Day to refuse the donor, no. They could've just stopped the story at Day getting back together with Mhok and lived a happy life together without him getting the news he would receive a donor, that way the series could stay faithful to the message. But well, this is a pointless discussion. You won't get me no matter what I said, and I won't change my mind to agree with you. Let us just stay with our own opinion.

Well, unfortunately for me, the ending of a story is always the most important, because it's the last impression that will linger in my memory and my heart. Bad Buddy for example, the story itself didn't impress me much, but they managed to slip a trick in what supposedly a predictable ending, and the impact their wits gave made it so memorable in a good way, at least for me. And Not Me, I liked it a lot until the disappointing ending, and it left me bitter about the series until I tried to rewatch it and found the ending bearable. Ableist ending, however, I'll never find bearable.
bad buddy is overrated. Epic ending? Where? You mean the time jump?
Nope, the unpredictable part. I like it because they fooled me completely, which is so rarely happened, that's why it's so memorable to me. And for Moonlight Chicken, it managed to keep me wondering until the end, and I like the messages it gave.

Well, so far GMMTV never hesitated to completely abandon the novel plot and only used the characters and their background, so why now? Rarely (or never, as far as I remember) a GMMTV series faithfully followed the novel, they even changed up the sequence of event for 2gether from the novel. If only NLMG and MGYG were faithful to the novel, they wouldn't be such a disaster. And if this ableist ending stemmed from the novel, I won't call it well written, because it means the novel is problematic to begin with.
After watching last ep i came here to share my opinion but now i am scared because it seems like there is war…
For me it's not about realism actually, it's more about the ending defeating the whole messages the series has been trying to send and now it feels kinda ableist to me. But I agree with you, everyone should be able to freely share their opinion as long as it's not done with malicious intent.
Kinda disappointed by the ending, now it feels kinda ableist to me. The messages I've been getting since the start of this series are about giving awareness about the disabled community and encouraging them, but the ending suddenly turned it into "still, it's better not to be disabled after all". Also, maybe I expected too much of Aof after the epic ending of Bad Buddy and Moonlight Chicken, but the whole episode of Last Twilight's ending can't be more predictable than this. If it was any other director I might've not minded it too much but it's Aof so I kinda put my expectation too high lol.
I believe this series is a true masterpiece, with a profound and powerful underlying message. It's so sad some…
Instead of depending on Day, I think Mhok was just traumatized by his sister's death. I understand Mhok's fear. What if again, something happens to the one he loved when he was too far away to help, or worse, can't even see their last moment? It's not about Day being blind, it's about Mhok being scared of losing someone he loved.
I'm honestly curious about this series. If OffGun weren't the MLs how would you have rated the series?
Well, they got me interested in this series but I'm not continuing to watch this solely because they play in it, but because all the casts are good in their roles and I quite enjoy the plot. If you're asking how I would've rated it if OffGun weren't the leads, then I have no answer to that, since I don't know how others would portray the characters, whether they'll be good at it or not. So far, the only Prem I know is Gun's portrayal of him, and so is Ten. I can't imagine other actors portraying them until it happens, well, if it ever did.
It's really getting better with each episode. Usually I can't really stomach romcom, especially Thai ones, but this is bearable for me. Love TenPrem's and both trios' dynamic in this ep, although I can't say the same for FireDy's. I love Dy as part of the trio, but with Fire he's too delusional, selfish, and has no respect, it's annoying to watch. I actually feel so bad for Fire, he's trapped with a toxic mother and being chased by a madman. Maybe their dynamic will change and I'll be able to enjoy them as a couple more, who knows.
When the first trailer came out a year ago, I thought the story wouldn't be very good, but I was still excited…
That EarthMix series had it worse though, isn't that the one exclusively available in Disney+ when it aired? At least for this one we can choose whether to watch it for free or pay for extra scenes. And actually many other series did it too, that's just how business is. They see loyal fandom and think how they can milk them the best.
Since you speak Thai you may be able to help mewhats the significance of Mork or Mhok? Ive seen others use these…
If that's the reason, I don't understand why they didn't just use another name to begin with. It's an original story, not an adaptation, so they should've been able to change names as they see fit, no? Or maybe the name has some kind of meaning relevant to the story?
It's pretty good so far, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. And the comments below are right, the uncut ver is way better than the yt ones. Although the scenes aren't really important, but they do make the pace flow better, and I like the dynamic between Prem and his family there. Hopefully they'll keep the quality or even improve it until the end, since GMMTV often messes up with their series in the middle despite the good start.
