These boys are killing me! What a mess ๐ญ I mean, I was also a queer mess as a teen, but hopefully not quite as bad as these four lol Love them all anyway! Looking forward to see if they can sort it out or if they'll end up in the messiest polycule the world has ever seen ๐
Nothing wrong with not wanting to have sex for whatever reason, but I don't really get why the girlfriend and boyfriend (?) are in a relationship with people who clearly have other needs than them. All four really need to talk this out, or they'll end up being miserable for the rest of their lives. Idk, maybe the couples are better off as friends/roommates? Or they can form a polycule with four people in it if they don't want to break up. I kind of have a feeling that Kaori and the other Kazuaki would get along quite well. Anything is better than the situation at hand. I just kind of hope it won't end up as a cheating plot, because that's shitty behavior as well (I'd understand it if Sei and Kazuaki just go for each other at some point, but yeah.... still shitty behavior).
Noooo.... not them breaking up in the end ๐ญ Well, I guess that was more of a realistic ending. At least no one else died?
I feel like there's a lot more to be told though. Like, why was Bible involved in a car crash and his accomplice even died in one? Sounds like someone wants to get rid of them. I'm also intrigued by the twins story (the doctor and his prisoner twin). What's up with those two? Also why is no one talking about the slightly awkward fact that the doctor twin dated Jed and the prisoner twin dated Bible and then Jed and Bible ended up together lol (maybe they should form a polycule, just saying ๐). Maybe the special episode can clear some things up and maybe we'll get a happy ending after all. Hope is everything!
On a side note: They get extra plus points from me for femme character representation. We really need more of that in BLs!
Last time we had a Chinese BL, they pulled it so fast, we got dizzy. I think I will give this one a few episodes…
It should be fine. As far as I know, they produced the series in China, but they're not releasing it there, which is kind of a way to get around the censorship. Plus, Gagaoolala isn't really known for pulling series.
So far, so cute! The gecko on Sangmin's butt cracked me up XD
Also, nice to see that they handled the language barrier issue in a realistic way. Both main characters can speak Thai, Korean and English at least on a basic level + they're using the good old hand gestures method. Works quite well, I think.
On a side note: The version on YouTube seems to be cut, it's about 5-6mins shorter than the version on Iqiyi.
I canโt stand hirukawaโs mother. Sheโs so neglectful of him, how can you call yourself a mother if you have…
Tbh I think the mother knows what's going on. It's not like the dad was all sunshine and rainbows before the divorce. She even said herself that he used to get into a lot of fights, meaning he has always had a tendency towards violence. You'd really have to be super dumb to not notice that your kid is getting beaten up by his violent father...
Because the friend said that it's Hirukawa's fault he ended up like this (aka shoplifting and failing at school), so Hirukawa feels responsible and tries to take the blame.
I adore Hirukawa, but my god... that boy really needs to work out some stuff. All the neglect, rejection and fearing that he might be as bad as his father has really destroyed his self-esteem ๐ Not to mention that he's got a bit of a savior-complex (thanks to his mother) and likes to sacrifice himself for people who don't even give a damn and don't deserve his kindness. He probably thinks something along the lines of: he's trash anyway, so might as well take the blame (and the beatings) for everyone, cause it doesn't matter if he gets hurt some more. Ah man... Minase better knock some sense into him.
It appears that the production company, rebranded as RECORDY, recently held a launch event on Oct. 31, and has…
And here I was thinking that "Winter Is Not the Death of Summer but the Birth of Spring" kind of has the same vibe as the trailer I saw a while ago of "Boyy of God" XD No wonder I spotted the similarities, if it's the same people behind both projects! Anyway, thank you for the info. Glad to hear that they haven't given up on this series :)
Pretty good so far! I've actually come to like the low-budget BLs more than the ones who've obviously got a lot of sponsors. Because if they've got limited resources, it usually means that the story itself has to be more compelling and interesting and they have to find creative ways to make use of what little they have available. I'd much rather have just one set and a few props, but a good story, than expensive cars and luxury homes combined with a pulp story that has already been done 100times
Are there any updates about this one? I'm really looking forward to a merman BL :3 (If those boys have been training and swimming all this time, they must have abs of steel by now hehe)
I was kind of hoping for a poly relationship between Elyes, Kim and Pat, but I guess I can't have nice things :( I would've also liked to see more of Run and Fei Long. Otherwise it's a decent series!
Every time I think Top and Mick can't do better, they're really surprising me yet again. I'm only halfway through ep7 and the tension is killing me! Also the mental gymnastics you have to do as actors who play an actor couple that has just broken up and then have their strained relationship bleed into the characters from the previous episodes. That can't be easy. They're both doing such a great job! Hope to see more of them in the future :)

And i'm kind of hoping for a little wedding special, that would be cute :3
