He's got serious nice guy energy. The way he keeps wanting to accompany Futoshi on his way home. At first I thought he just wants to make sure the bullied kid will get home safely, but after ep 2... Idk, Futoshi might end up dead in a ditch! I bet the teacher had to leave Tokyo, because he tried to have an affair with a student or something like that yuck
Damn, even though the episodes are relatively short, there is a ton to unpack here. There are so many ways how this story could go really dark really fast... We've got Mishima, who is a sweetheart, but unfortunately has got a big fat target sign on their back. Kirino who is the personification of self-hatred, Yumeno who might have a crush on Mishima and can't deal with it so he resorts to violence and that new teacher whose gaze is lingering a bit too long on Mishima if you ask me (creepy much? I bet he had to leave Tokyo because there was an incident with one of his students)... I just hope Mishima and his mom (love her! And she's a former Bosozoku, how cool is that?! :D) will be ok in the end.
I feel sorry for Diew. The poor boy got thoroughly traumatized by his asshole of an ex and his overbearing mother. I understand why he doesn't want to share anything too private with anyone. That can already be hard under normal circumstances, but in his case... I mean his mother alone gives him enough material for several years of therapy. On the other hand, if Diew wants to date God, he needs to learn to open up about these things. Otherwise the relationship can't work and it would be better for Diew to be a single turtle dad instead.
Not the succulents betraying Ryo and favoring Haruto 🤣
Ugh, I really love everything about this series from Ryo being a cute cringefail husband to Haruto playing with fire, because I can already tell he's gonna fall for Ryo for real. My only complaint is that the episodes are too short, I need more!
I have a slight suspicion that AF might be related to Day from Love Syndrome lol (gotta love Yeonim and her fucked up unhinged characters 💕) But I guess next episode we'll get a little break from all the stalking and drama while the boys enjoy their trip to Phuket :)
I'm fairly sure that all of them are already dead. They died during the car crash. They said it themselves: They're stuck in the same loop and can only go where they've already gone before. If they try to go somewhere else, they always end up back at the house. That's not really something that happens to living people. I'd instead associate such a time loop with a spirit who is unable to let go, maybe because they died very suddenly. Then we have the strange weather: It was dark outside and raining when they tried to leave the house via car. While they drove it was suddenly daylight again, but you could still hear the thunder when they were back at the house. And in the morning when they have breakfast outside there is no trace of a thunder storm.
As for Mas and his siblings (and mother/step mother (?) in that locked room): The book that Khen found in the library said they left for England together with the dad, but what if the dad killed them and their ghosts are stuck in the house as well? In any case they must've died before they had a chance to go to England, otherwise it wouldn't make any sense for their ghosts to be there.
So in conclusion: If I'm right then we've got a ghost who's currently haunting another ghost lol
The beginning was good, but sadly it fell a bit flat in later episodes. In the end we had them as a couple for like 1 minute and that was it. I don't mind a slow burn story, but I want a proper reward for sitting around for so long and waiting for the protagonists to finally end up together. I don't really feel rewarded with this one.
So... I've just now realized that I've been watching the cut version this whole time 😠I really don't get why they keep doing this. Why have a cut, uncut and then directors super special cut version? Just give me the whole series as one version jfc
Now I have to watch the whole thing again and see if I've missed anything ah...
Oh really? I think the only plot is annoying friends being annoying and nosy. I mean everyone. All they can talk…
I'm kind of thinking it's the whole Covid situation maybe. They're mostly stuck inside, watching or taking part in live streams all day long. So naturally they'd focus on their friends relationships to distract themselves and have something exciting to think about that has nothing to do with the pandemic. Or they're just a nosy bunch in general lol
I find the second couple more interesting as well. But maybe that's because I really adore Tiger.
I wasn't going to give this show a chance based on the ratings and boy am I glad I ignored that. This rating is…
The acting really isn't too bad. I've seen series that were rated 8+ with much worse acting. So I'm pleasantly surprised with this one :)
And about the Covid plot: If I remember correctly, then Yeonim (the author) wrote this novel during the pandemic. She got inspired by experiences her two younger siblings made, who were probably still uni students at the time. Live in Love is kind of a side project of Yeonim's that she wrote while not working on the Love Syndrome Universe novels.

Very well done!

And this whole time I've been wondering why the relationship between Shan and Ob-un hasn't really progressed. Turs out it has and I've missed it ðŸ˜
