I'd be ok with it, if it was another story and basically just a cute school romcom without any nc scenes. But…
There will be an uncut VIP version available on WeTV, yes. When it comes to Thai BLs, "uncut" usually means additional nc scenes. Sure, it could be that it's just a couple of new pg13 scenes that didn't make the original cut, but I kind of doubt it.
It's a great concept and the acting is good as well. I just wish this had been a full 30-50mins per episode series. Hopefully we'll get more apocalypse and post-apocalypse BLs in the future!
people in the comments actually defending the idea of a man pushing 30 being the romantic partner of a 16 year…
I'd be ok with it, if it was another story and basically just a cute school romcom without any nc scenes. But apparently there will be an uncut spicy version too, so... Yeah, I don't feel comfortable with this casting choice. If they want to create an 18+ show, the very least I'm expecting is that all actors involved in spicy scenes are 18 or older. It's really not that hard to achieve, just make the age a condition during the casting call. There are plenty of actors out there, you can't tell me that Mac was the only choice for the main. I'm kind of side-eying them for casting actors that are under 18 tbh
For my taste there was a bit too much crying and shouting going on in the last couple of episodes, but otherwise it's a good series. Hope to see more of Daou and Offroad in the future :)
If anxiety caused fevers I would have burned to a crisp years ago.The costume designer should be flogged. What's…
I myself get high fevers from stress and anxiety and I know a couple of other people who do as well, so it's not made up.
Baggy layered clothes are currently a trend in Japan. The costume designers actually do a great job. Just pay attention to the colors for example: Taishin wears blue and yellow, the colors of the sky and sun (Takara looking at the sky through a marble is a major theme in the series!). Meanwhile Takara wears a lot of black and gray that's slowly turning lighter and more colorful (like the sheets in his room, they were light blue! And he gave Taishin a muted pink sweater to wear > Pink is the color of love <3).
They were supposed to go hiking up a mountain. It can get cold as fuck and windy up there, so long underwear is a must or else you'll end up as a popsicle.
Takara is already in love with Taishin and vice versa. They basically confessed at the end of ep6 and Takara called Taishin an idiot for not realizing they're practically boyfriends.
Honestly, if they're going to make adaptations that trivialize and romanticize rape, I'd rather watch a censored…
Sounds like you're a fan of the Hays Code... Also, let's not forget that people ended up in jail because of the censorship. If you're pro censorship, you're most definitely anti lgbtq+ rights.
I can't believe people are supporting a drama in 2024 that romanticizes rape...And to think that some of these…
I will most definitely support this drama, no matter what the characters did or will do in the future simply because I've been waiting for about 8 years for a new uncensored BL from China. Yes, I know it's a collaboration with Taiwan and Thailand, but let's be real, it's a Chinese BL in essence. A Chinese BL in which they openly say they love each other and they hold hands and kiss and more! This is an important milestone. So yeah, if the characters are toxic, fuck it. Because if this one goes well, we might get a lot more uncensored BLs that are based on Chinese novels in the future. What I'm trying to say is, you have to see the bigger picture here: If Meet you at the Blossom is successful, we will most likely get more uncensored Chinese BLs through collaborations with Taiwan/Thailand and then it's only a matter of time until they'll create series that don't include SA and actually show healthy relationships.
I get why this series might not be for everyone. But I'm an enjoyer of deranged and extremely possessive characters, so I'm really having a blast while watching it! The darker the plot, the better hehe~ Hopefully Huaien will go full crazy in the next episodes :D
This is a classic Japanese BL from days long past. While watching this BL, you should remember that it's based on a story that was written in the mid 90s (30 years ago!), at a time when you'd already feel lucky when they didn't use the "kill your gays" trope. So idk, take it as a historic document of sorts? And take the tags/trigger warnings seriously.
Rewatched this one again. As the other reviews say: It's so bad, it's actually good! Unforgotten Night is easily one of my favorite BLs of all time. It's silly and unhinged (shoes on the bed, everything Kamol says, weird ad placements, the bodyguard throuple, Danil as a whole lol), but still has a reasonably good plot and the character's have background stories and personality. Plus there is actual communication going on between Kim and Kamol and not every little problem ends up in a fight and drama, which is really refreshing to see. As always a 9/10 watch for me 🤗
I haven't watched the last two episodes yet. Can anyone tell me if the magic/mystical elements (they were naga or some other kind of magical creature in their past lives?) get any screen time? I've already given up on the mpreg, but I'm still kind of hoping for some more Thai folklore.
