I mean yeah, Taichi would be stupid if he didn't take that chance. Jobs that are meaningful, that teach you new things and a boss who is actually a decent guy are quite hard to come by. Plus, a uni degree really isn't everything. I've got one, but it's pretty useless for my current job.
Was a bit pissed off at first because of Jane (girl, find a hobby and leave those boys alone!), but the ending was super sweet and made up for it :3
Also, I really felt for Diew. The amount of times I've heard "you have to talk more, you have to be more outgoing, you have to change" as a kid and teenager... People don't realize how much of an asshole move that is. Because what they're actually saying is "you're weird, you don't fit in and you have to change, because it makes ME feel uncomfortable" Nah, fuck that!
Hmm, I don't know... Somehow I feel like I should like this series more than I do. But tbh, most of the time it's more like fanservice than an actual series. It's kind of like going to a fanmeeting and they perform scenes from different series for you. Nice to look at, but that's about it. And after 5 episodes, it gets a bit boring.
Another one lost to censorship... While I appreciate that they keep trying, I think it would be best if they found a different solution right from the start. Meet you at the Blossom seems to be doing ok, so a co-production with another country would probably to be the best option for Chinese BLs atm. It will still be risky for any Chinese staff and actors involved, but at least there's a better chance that the whole series can be aired and it won't simply disappear.
On a side note: I'm kind of side-eying iQiyi, because they did the censors bidding and removed the content. Next time they should release their series on Gagaoolala.
Not gonna lie, I think a week in that dungeon would probably fix me. I mean: No work, sleep all you want, detoxing, spa days, getting a new hair cut, kinky sex galore. Add a good book or two to that and I'd be having the best time ever lol
Me seeing the guitar in Wan's hand: Mother help, the gays are singing again 😂 Though Wan was actually kind of cute while he sang for Ai! And he has a nice voice, so it was better than the songs we get in most BLs.
On a different note, I kind of wonder if Yu has some curse or bad karma going on? Without Ai's help, he would've already been dead a couple of times or at least badly injured.

True. I think Japanese adaption are better at exploring the really dark and twisted sides of a character. Thai series are more lighthearted in comparison. It's nice to have a light series, mind you, but in this case I think the story would've benefitted from a bit more darkness and fuckeduppery lol
The problem I have with this series is that they didn't go completely dark side, even though the potential was there. Payu is extremely manipulative and obsessive, he broke Rain's car on purpose to lure him in etc. But it's portrayed in a way that is too light and romantic. Same goes for Prapai. He's a prime example of a stalker, but they tried to turn it into him helping Sky through his trauma. If they had made this series into a psychological horror story, I think I would've loved it. If you want to give me possessive psycho characters, make sure they're fucked up to the max! No need to sugarcoat it by pretending it's all funny and romantic.
That being said, I hope the Japanese version can fix some of the problems of this series. We'll see :3

I don't feel sorry for the girlfriend/fiancé. You could totally tell she was only acting cute, but deep down she's bitchy as hell. Taeha really dodged a bullet by breaking off the engagement with her. Not just because he's in love with a man, but in general. In the end true love won 🥰

Sometimes I watch videos of terrarium builds on YT where they create these really big and elaborate homes for their turtles and fish and whatnot. My heart goes out to Khun Shy, knowing that he has to live in a tiny plastic box without any enrichment. But I also hope that was only temporary, because having the turtle in a smaller container was easier during filming.

I really like that those two have a lot of conversations and that they're trying to get to know each other properly before moving on to the next stage in their relationship. That's a rare find in most BLs.
Also, it's the little things for me: Like Diew hiding behind God whenever they enter a room that's full of other people, God being a bit clumsy and chaotic and Diew hesitating to give out his phone number and info (same dude, I was like "Who is that woman? Go away. We don't know you!").
Only minus point I've got so far is that Khun Shy's enclosure is too small. That poor turtle is always trying to escape 😭 But I assume it's only a temporary solution they had in place while filming and that the turtle has a bigger home irl.
Finally Build is free! As for Poi, she got a (for now) suspended prison sentence of 1/2 to 1 year and a fine of 20.000 Baht. She's a convicted criminal now and Build was proven innocent.
