Why is nobody commenting on the comedy aspect of this show. I havent laughed so hard in a long time. Especkally the scene where they found hair in the tteokboki and his long hair was flapping around.. i was in tears 🤣🤣🤣
A very talented ans versatile actor. Seen him in a variety of roles. He nails each character nicely. Underrated as he hasnt really seemed to have gotten a big break yet. Hope his day will come!
When Yuru "died" im ep33 i knew it couldnt be the case but still very heartbreaking to see her loved ones mourning for her, especially her mum and Jiusi. I could not wait for their reunion and thankfully it was in ep36 and not at the very end.
The show had a few major arcs: being targeted by Yongzhou commissioner, fleeing to Youzhou, fighting to defend Wangdu, being targeted by Empress Dowager causing fake death of Yuru, i think that last one was the most painful to see them separated. Hence im glad they did not separate again or my heart wont be able to take it.
This show is a hit and im so happy for the crew and actors. The last director ditched the show and left the production in a mess, causing the show to almost be cancelled. To save $$ Zhao Lusi did hers and DJX's styling and wore many of her own clothing and accessories. She even got her friends to act (her room mate is a good friend in real life, and Zeng Li who played her mum in Love Like the Galaxy) as they had to find someone in a short time. So glad the show is a hit, ive always loved Zhao Lusi but knowing how hard she worked to save the show makes me love her even more.
Very talented young actress who can act in diverse roles, would love to see her in a lead role in a wuzia as a female heroine! So far the shows she has chosen have done well!
Guys idk if my fragile shipping heart can take any more. It damn well almost killed me when YH got stabbed the 3rd time and now theyre patching things up, i see that shes gonna kill TY in ep27??? This has been a roller-coaster of emotions, what am i gonna do for the next 2 days 😪 good thing im working on the weekend...if this show doesnt have a HE I'm qutting Cdrama!!!!
Up to episode 4 and i really like it. Not sure why some reviews said its boring. Maybe not liked by some international viewers as there are no idol actors or fancy costumes.
Didnt realise the actor who plays Crown Prince of the 9 tail foxes is in this. He was really good in Sleuth of Ming Dynasty! This show is getting even better 👏 😍
Poor Yanhui got stabbed AGAIN. Im so mad at Tianyao, He was willing to risk her life (she could die without the heart protective scale in 3 days) to take his revenge and to save the elves. What if he couldnt make it back on time... I wont blame yanhui if she never forgives him.
Cureently on Ep10 and im LOVING this show. I love the fantasy theme, its giving me Alchemy of Souls vibe. Absolutely love Zhou Ye, the role was made for her, and the dynamics between her, Tian Yao and Bai Xiao Sheng made me laugh so much. I didnt want to watch this until all the eps aired, so i thought i would stop at 2 eps but i cant!!!
Currently on Ep1 and 20 mins in and im already ugly crying. The frailty and wonder of meaning of life is well played by the 2 best friends. I lost a uni friend at age 31 to cancer and he died months before his son was born. I think if you have some life experience with grief/loss you will relate to the show. Crystal Liu delivers a stellar performance.
I dont like how she keeps trying to kill him, he loves her way more than she loves him 😭 for that reason i couldnt get fully involved in their relationship 💔 TTK deserves better!
