I like the dream arc, mostly because of the cool battle scene. But, I couldn't get the idea why ttj and lss will develop their feelings after this arc. Because, it's basically not their life and the choice and feelings of sang Jiu and ming ye is not their choice and feelings. How could they fall in love with each other or develop feelings for each other just from witnessing people with the same face with a handful of traits, attitudes, and choices. I think they might understand the feelings of sang jiu and ming ye. But, however it is not their feelings. Aren't ttj and lss like actors and actresses playing a drama about ancient gods life? basically even if they understand each other in "that drama", it's still not their life and themselves. So, I don't understand why their feelings can develop just because of a dream.

I understand. So before becoming a TTJ, he was a devil god who killed so many innocent people. And in the future, after going through a difficult life as a tj he also becomes a devil god with the same ambition. Agree. And I almost forget ttj is a future devil god while watching ming ye lol. It said that based on novel, ming ye pick ttj in dream realms because he wants ttj learn to love (novel ming ye really cold towards sj and never released his feelings until sang Jiu become a 'demon'). Sj picks lss because she wanted to be 'lss' who doesn't bounded by love and become weak. But, it's on the novel. I'm not sure the reason in the drama.
