I'm checking a few things of Blood of the Youth, I watched it a long time ago, and OMG I can't make peace with what will happen to Yi WenJun and Ye Dingzhi. If I had any doubts about how awful are Prince Lang Ya and Prince Jing (Xiao Ruo Jin), I don't anymore. I can't stop crying.
Wu Xin is the son of Ye Ding Zhi with Yi Wenjun, and the emperor raped his mother and killed his father. Why does he help Xiao Se instead of his half brother Xiao Yu to take over the emperor ? He doesn't even care about what happened to his parents?
I hate Prince Lang Ya so much! For the greater good Ye Yun family has to die, for the greater good Ye Yun can't be with the love of his life. There you go, your " self righteous" prince. And I don't care that he feels bad about it, he just didn't have to intervene.
Oh, and let's not forget of his help with the death of Baili Dong Jun first master.
Good actors, love the ML, nice chemistry and a good story to begin with. But the problem is that the story doesn't develop, it's so repetitive. I lost count of how many times she hurts him and they threaten each other, if fells like walking in circles. This minidrama could have been great if they worked on the story a little more.
I'm so happy this is out! Now I have something to watch after The Double. This is a very well produced and edited drama, I just watched 4 episodes like it was nothing, such a good pace without boring moments. And I love the actors, FL and ML are great!
7,5 is too high for this drama, I'm on episode 10 and my only wish is for the ML to die. Absolutely nothing justifies his behavior. When the synopses say "two continued to be entangled in a sadomasochistic relationship" please understand as "the ML is sadistic and vindictive as fuck, and the FL is miserable all the time". Don't get me wrong, I already watched a lot of possessive relationships in dramas and like some of them, but not this humiliating. And there are some dramas where the ML humiliates the FL, but they have a better explanation than this one, like Broken the Heart, here everything is just for free.
Because of your comment, I'm like constantly looking at his hair now lol. It seems to be his real hair slicked…
I'm sorry kkkkk You know, I think it would be better if they just used his real hair and put a hair extension or something, anything but what they did.
It's a bit frustrating how Fu Yao needs help for everything, she is always being rescued by someone. I thought she would be a badass FL, but no, just Zhang Sun Wu Ji saves her one hundred times.
I'm on episode 12 and there are so many characters and stories going on at the same time that I fell kind of lost. I'm trying to understand who they are, their family story and goals, so we have the Xuanyuan Sect master, the Taiyuan heir and fakes ones, the Crown Prince, the general of Tiansha, the doctor, Fu Yao herself and others. And where the hell is Xiao Qi? Each one have their on plot, it's a bit overwhelming.
This is a good drama. Very consistent plot and story development, it definitely have all the intrigue and depth I would expect from a palace drama. I like the actors and it is a decent production, considering that it is from 2013. There is only one major thing that I can get pass through: Daniel Chan hair and make up. OMG I'm so distracted by it, I can't watch any scene with him that my eyes automatically go to the forehead, it's so bad, I can't believe they didn't try to make it look better.
Someone can say to me if I can watch season 2 without having watched season 1 ?? Is gonna make sense ??
No, you must watch season 1, so you can understand the plots, characters and story development. I mean, you can comprehend most of the story if you start with season 2, but why would you lose all that happened with the characters before?

But is it really going to have only 21 eps? I need more!

I just finish it and that was a great drama, I love everything about it. It definitely is going to be in my top dramas of all time list.
And it's bothering, but definitely doesn't take away how good it is.
