They're probably only friends 😅 This drama was filmed before Love Between Lines (drama) and Wow the World (variety show). Chen Xingxu actually missed a few episodes of WTW in the beginning because he was finishing up the last scenes for LBL. Just watch it and you'll see their sibling-like antics. After WTW, Wang Yuwen filmed her next drama with Gong Jun, another cast member of WTW. If you ask me, the later has more potential to be beyond just friends 🫢

Honestly, keep watching! The episodes get better and better. You will regret missing out on this drama. The story has a light-hearted tone and the interactions between Chen Xingxu and Wang Yuwen feel natural - like something you would see between people the same age. Love Between Lines is still a favorite for me, but there's potential here too 🩷

I like that the beginning of episode 1 focuses more on Wang Yuwen's character, Lin Huaner. I'm still tripping out when I see Chen Xingxu... Gives me time to adjust ahaha

I think what's saving this drama from quick refusal to watch is how the vibe leans into comedy more than Love Between Lines, and also how there are overlaps between friends in real life playing the lead roles. It's like you want to support them all because the actors and actresses themselves support each other too. Like how Lin Yi, Lu Yuxiao's upcoming male lead, supports LBL and this. Gong Jun, Wang Yuwen's upcoming male lead, supports this.
